I received a bill from ************* a couple years ago. I requested an itemized bill for the service because there was no information about the care I received on the bill. This was important because the bill as is would be rejected by the health savings plan. I did not hear back from them for several years. In Jan 2023, I received a letter from ************* saying they tried to contact me multiple times, which is a lie, and they are sending the bill to collections. I would just like an itemized bill for the service I received, which is my right as a patient, and required by law. Just do your job and send an itemized bill with, name, location, itemized service provided with medical insurance codes. Stop lying because you didn't do your job. Just so we are clear, an itemized bill is a bill where its clear where I was getting care, when, by whom, and the medical care I received, with an insurance code. Make sure the itemized bill is dated the day it was prepared, which is this year because it was never able to be produced or sent to me as of 3/3/2023. If an itemized bill cannot be produced, void the bill. Otherwise this will be taken as extortion and I will be filing a police report.Initial Complaint

I received ultrasound on 11/18/2022. I was told by an employee on 11/17/2022 and again during my visit 11/18/2022 that my financial responsibility is $123.29, which I paid in full on 11/18/2022. Now, I'm getting more bills and when I try to call, they say that the $123.29 is an "estimate" and not the actual amount. NO ONE told me that. I am being charged $337.19 for this visit. I had miscarried and had to get the ultrasound for confirmation. This whole ordeal has been stressful enough, mentally, physically and emotionally and now financially. If I had known it would cost that much, then I would have discussed with the doctor to go somewhere else. On 12/19/2022, I spoke to Pinknny at ************ about my bill (4720*300088950123) for $90.61 but was unable to obtain specifics, she told me to call the hospital. I spoke to ***** at 877-323-0043 12/19/2022 and she said nothing she could do to help with the bill for $90.61. Then today, I received another bill for $123.29 (***********) and spoke to ********* 12/21/2022 and he told me that I got two separate bill because it's billed separately. He was unable to explain why the claims I see on my insurance portal shows FOUR different billing for the same date of visit. It's been a tough few months and this financial burden is taking unnecessary toll on me. I'm hoping hospital would take a look and to help with reducing this burden. Thanks.
