On February 5, 2024 an employee of Preferred Facility Services named ***** came to my house to give me an estimate for Mold Restoration. The Estimate was originally 900 but when they came out to do the job, they noticed a leak in the hot water heater pipes and said they could fix it for an extra 300. I agreed to these terms. The owner *********************** came to my house along with ***** to start the job. I paid ***** 1200 cash in advance since he indicated he had to go to ********** for supplies to fix the water leak. They returned and fixed the water leak by putting tape around the pipe. They said once the water dried, they would come back and complete the job. They did not return! So I am left with Sheetrock missing where they cut it out to repair the leak. The leak is still happening according to a plumber that I called after this company did not respond to my calls or emails. Last month, ***** stopped by and told me that he had been let go from the company and that ***** has not paid him in months. He offered to do the job for free if I buy the products that he needs to finish. I went with another reputable person to complete the work and fix the leaking water heater pipes. This is a scam business with no honesty and integrity. They should not even have the BBB logo on their website!
