I stayed at the Radisson in ******, and parked in the designated hotel parking structure that said "hotel parking." The website said I would have to pay $5 a day for parking so upon check in I told the front desk my which car was mine and if I should pay now or later, they said it was complimentary. I check into my room and the next morning at 10:30 am I saw that my car was broken into. I went to the frost desk and the receptionist didn't want to deal with me, she just said "you need to call the police" and insinuated that I needed to figure it out on my own. I was honestly shocked at how careless the staff was. I went back to my car and ran into hotel security, I asked him if he had seen my car and he said yes I saw it at 8 am and the hotel manager was supposed to tell you that it was broken into. No one from the hotel told me anything about my car and sometime between when I checked in and 8am it was broken into and it sat there with any one letting me know... and no one calling the police. I spent all morning filing a police report and trying to clean up the broken glass, without any assistance from the hotel. I spent money on the hotel and extra money on paying for a window. I had to leave my car in ****** while the window was being shipping in and had to borrow a car to get back in *** *******. I called customer service line at the hotel and they said they sent me an email later basically saying to "call the police myself." It was not a professional way to handle this, and frankly false advertising about hotel parking. If I had known the hotel parking lot labeled "hotel parking" was not secured and risky I would have not stayed at the hotel, the hotel security did nothing and did not protect anything. My car sat open for hours and I cut myself trying to clean the glass up. The police report with photos has been filed with the ****** County PD the number is *********.
