  I was referred to ****** * *****s by a friend who found him on Facebook Marketplace to install a gate. ****** required us to pay 50% just over $2000 to initiate the process stating the $ was needed for materials. He asked that I Zelle $ to his wife *******. I sent part $ to his wife and wrote a check for the rest which he cashed same day. I asked for a business address. He called someone and told them I need the address. He supplied an address to a business in Madera which I learned later was fake. After getting our money and several text messages over several months he finally came to install the fence & security gate. He never finished the job, leaving me with doors that don’t lock and a Security gate detaching from the wall. He left the old gate and told me he would install a suspension to keep the gate from sagging. Since he did much work I trusted him to finish the job and gave him the balance of the payment. Huge mistake. He has never returned to finish, ignores my calls and text messages. When I threatened to sue, he called me back and said he would finish over the weekend. I sent videos and pics of what needed to get done. It has been a month now and he never showed. Clearly he and his wife are scam artists. I will be filing legal action against them both.

  I reached out to R.T.'s wife on Facebook messenger, after seeing a post I saw of her advertising her significant other's fence work. I reached out S.T. on Oct 23 2021 she took my information and had R.T. come to my home to gather information and get back to me with a quote. R.T provided an estimate for two side gates and 3 security screen doors. R.T stated the job couldn't get started until 50% of the total amount due was provided. On November 2, 2021 R.T came to my home and provided a written detailed invoice/quote with specific amts for each service. I paid him the required 50% due, $3,000.00 R.T wrote a receipt of what monies he was receiving that day and what the balance was. R.T did request pictures to be sent to him of what kind of design I would like for the security screen doors. After many attempts October 28, 2021 I had to reach out to R.T's significant other S.T via messenger again. S.T. made up an excuse for the lack of communication from R.T. but stated she would have him call me. I did not receive a call. November 24 2021 I messaged S.T. again and S.T messaged back that R.T he was doing work at Christmas Tree Lane and was tied up and that's why he couldn't get back to me. Then November 26, 2021 S.T. replied to me from a message I sent November 24, 2021 and told me more excuses of why R.T. couldn't come out and finish the gates. December 7, 2021 S.T again sent a message stating she understood the situation was not right and apologized and stated he would come out to install the fence and again he did not show up. December 10, 2021 R.T did come to install the iron part of one side gate but did not complete that gate nor work on the second gate. I have continued to reach out with no answer from R.T or S.T. R.T had been in contact with my husband, however after many attempts text message or phone calls from my husband and I, R.T. still has not replied since December 21, 2021.
