      Technician was on time and polite. Unfortunately their report for our microwave door said it was not regular wear and tear and was cosmetic. If it were just cracks and parts breaking off , maybe that is cosmetic, but the outer glass had fallen inside the door. The door is 17 years old but we have only lived in the house six months. Possibly just a young inexperienced technician. Possible the home warranty company at fault as well.

      On or about April 20, 2022, I called my home warranty company to get my dryer fixed. They told me to call A & R Appliance. I did. The technician came out on April 25th and checked my dryer. He said it was the heating element. Fine. I waited a little over two weeks for an appointment to replace the heater. I had an appointment for the 16th of May. The technician called and I missed his call but within 5 min. I called back the number. I was told that I missed my appointment. That they only wait a few minutes outside your home before they leave. I explained that he wasn't at my home. Too bad, I need to make another appointment. On May 20th, the tech came back with a timer. He said it wasn't the heater, it was the timer and that he knows his business and that I was wrong. He replaced the timer and the dryer heater still did not work. He explained that it was the motor that needed to be fixed. I was a little baffled because I could hear the tumbler spinning in the cold dryer. Finally, I went to the shop to talk to the owners. I explained the situation. They pulled the invoice and sure enough, it read heater element and fuse. I told them that that made more sense. The owners were nice people. To be honest, it's the tech that intimidated me, verbally harassed me with fear that he was going to call the warranty company and tell them that my dryer was dirty and they can't fix it, etc. Today, May 27, 2022, the tech came to my house to replace the heater and hopefully the fuse. Again, he said he was going to die of the dirt behind my dryer (which I had vacuumed). When he had finished, I told him I smelled burned rubber. He told me it was burned dog hair. No, it was burned rubber, He left. I had two gentlemen putting in my new heater and air conditioner. I asked them what they smelled. Burned rubber! I called the company to complain. I was told to leave a message. I haven't heard back.
