I was told if i did a focus group which they record and send video footage elsewhere that i would receive compensation of $200 and according to their email within 24-48 hours from end of the study being 2/10. when i email it is thats a glitch on the date or let me look into it but no response beyond that.Business response

Thanks for letting us know about this matter.
We are a marketing research company and our clients offer a monetary honorarium to individuals who we recruit to participate in their research studies.
Sara ***** participated in a research study on 2/10/22 and was eligible to receive a $200 honorarium.
The honorarium is sent as an emailed digital token which the individual can redeem.
She was emailed the digital token on 2/11/22. Ms. ***** contacted us on 2/16 and 2/18 asking about the status of her honorarium.
She was asked to check to see if it had ended up in her spam/junk folder.
She emailed us again on 2/21 stating that she had still not received her honorarium, at which point the digital token was reissued to her.
She redeemed it on 2/21/22.
Please see the attached that shows the date of issue of 2/11/22 and the date she redeemed it of 2/21/22.
We process thousands of honorariums each year for our research study participants and we always process them on a timely basis.
It may be that Ms. *****’s emailed token landed in her spam/junk folder or possibly may have been deleted it by mistake.
Regardless, we always work to resolve any issues that may arise as promptly as possible.
