We moved into our home in September of 2023 and have not had a working ** unit since. It ended up getting cold and we turned the heater on for the first time and smoke came out of the vents which made them have to come out and address the issue with the heater. At that time whoever came out refilled the coolant for the ** due to seeing that it was low. Then in May some things happened that required the fire department and one to come out and turn off the electricity meter and this resulted in our unit being red tagged. Before this happened we had complained about our ** still not working. Our red tag was removed as of Friday August 9th and we were able to return back home. They set up an appointment for maintanence to come and look at the ** unit and fix any problems or so I thought. The guy that came only refilled the ** with coolant again he didnt even look for or fix any actual problems. He stated that we could let it run and cool down the apartment and if it didnt cool down the apartment that the rental office would have to decide to fix it or replace it. This to me is crazy because thats what he was there for. Today Tuesday August 13th I called the office and informed them that our ** unit is still not working it is not cooling down our apartment at all it got up to 87 degrees and the only reason why its that low is because I had a window ** running that I had to purchase due to having children and it was way to hot. They told me they couldnt have another person or maintenance person some out until Thursday to me this ridiculous because this is well over 72 hours and how is it our fault to have to wait this long in a hot apartment.

Applied to specific listing on a Monday. Application process said someone would contact me shortly. No one contacted me and when I called no one answered. Tuesday I call again, and they tell me I have to print out copies of everything I just submitted online and bring $25, so I do. Thursday they contact me saying I need a co-signer. Friday morning my co-signer does the same process and we go to the rental office with print-outs and another $25. Saturday, co-signer is sent an email saying property unavailable, nothing to me. Co-signer calls to get more information but is told application department closed on Saturdays. Monday, I still have nothing from them. Co-signer calls again and is told a deposit was accepted Friday afternoon and the property is not available, then claims the application is universal and not for a specific property, despite the entire application, print-outs and receipts specifying the property being applied for. I shouldn't have needed a co-signer, I did everything as fast as they let me despite being ready to put in a deposit day 1, and even after finishing their process before anyone else, they still let someone else have it instead of me. I have rented from this property in the past and their entire operation is a joke and scam. They only buy garbage in garbage areas and rent it out for double its worth. Only use this company if you are ****** or desperate.

*****, you must be ****** if you don’t remember signing in 2 places stating that you understand properties are available on a first come first serve basis and that your application would not be processed until you pay the $25 fee. Take some personal responsibility and read before you sign!

    Customer Response

A comment demonstrating their lack of comprehension. Not only is the office located on Belmont, but the staff must be recruited from Belmont as well. My review details the application process and how even if you are prepared, they can screw around until someone else is approved first, then claim you're stupid and didn't read anything. Follow up on your end of the online application process, or add online payment for the $25 fee, print your own documents from the ones you require be uploaded, and make the online process complete once submitted. Take some responsibility, get accredited and improve the notorious reputation and low ratings before attacking your customer base who, along with the neighborhoods you're located in, unanimously hate you.
