This company has not been truthful to myself and parents to install their solar panels. It started in October- November and until now nothing has been done. My parents and I have been trying to get updates and they have lied to both of us stating things will get done.Business response

We have had issues with getting approval from the city because permits kept getting kicked back for revisions. We finally got Approval in Dec 2022. The system was submitted to Utility and Permission to Operate on Jan 11 2023. We are providing clients a reimbursement whenever issues arise like this. We have been paying their loan monthly and have already communicated this to the ******* Family.Initial Complaint

EMBR Solar installed my solar panels on August 1, 2022. I didn't hear from them again until October 27, 2022 (only because I kept calling) in which they informed me the solar panels were "plugged in." They were back at my house on November 8, 2022 to advise me the solar panels were "turned on." Here we are on November 17, 2022 and my panels are still not "on" and working. I have already made the first payment on November 3, 2022 for something that is not functioning. I don't think I should pay for something that does not work. I am a senior citizen and on a fixed income. I was promised to have everything in working order by the first month after install to avoid $500 PG&E bills, but I still have the same bill. I have now CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT SOLAR AND WOULD LIKE THEM REMOVED FROM MY ROOF since they have not held up their part of the agreement. I was also promised an $8000 rebate since I get social security and cannot claim the rebate on my taxes. The last point is the price. When the young man came to my door to sell the solar, he told me it would be $55000, but it turns our it's more like $75000.Business response

It can go faster, but it is important to note that you may start paying for solar before your solar system is activated. We do provide reimbursements if it exceeds 3 months .
