We partnered with SunMade energy In fall of ************************************ Oct of 22 and were told we were on grid and producing solar power from our panels . We were never given any type of Instruction on how the panels worked, how to check to see if they were active and working, or how a true up bill works. What we were told was we would get a true bill at the end of the year from PG&E. We would also have a small monthly bill from PG&E.We were under the assumption, that all of the energy that our solar panels would produce, would be deducted at the end of the year, and we would have a small amount of money owed to PGE. However, this is false one year later in September I noticed that our true up bill from PG&E was continuing to grow larger and larger we contacted SunMade energy. To find out. Why was our Bill going higher and higher.? They sent technicians out on several occasions with us being told that our panels were off-line and also being told that they needed to be. Updated . In the meantime, while, waiting on their technicians, I contacted PGE, and they told me that we had produced zero power starting from October 2022 to October 2023 . We informed SunMade energy at that point of our findings from PG&E In late November 2023 our panels were back on the grid and producing power the last week of November and the whole month of December 2023 However, we were stuck with a large unexpected bill over $6200 to make payment arrangements with PG&E.We reached out to SunMade energy yet again asking since their panels were not working if they would help pay some of our trueup bill, knowing that we would have a small amount owed not asking for the full amount. This is when we were informed that Sunpower was the company that was providing power to our panels not realizing they had subcontracted. around the same time SunMade energy started trying to pass the buck to us the ****** and to SunPower We have tried to work with them for the past few months and they have given us nothing but the runaround from not returning correspondence though phone and email for weeks on end to asking for different extension dates to decide what they want to do to help us never meeting any extension dates. We had to stop paying our solar loan SunMade energy receive full payment upfront because we had to make financial obligation arrangements with PG.&E so not only did we make our payments on time for over a year for solar panels that were not working we are also having to make installments to PG&E with no help from anyone.
