My wife was experiencing pain in her right hand and it had gotten to an excruciating level, so we decided to take her to urgent care. After taking her to Willow Urgent Care, they said that we should get X-Rays to check to see if there was potentially a fracture or something of that sort. This clinic does NOT have an X-Ray machine on site and used a service called San Joaquin Valley Imaging who brings in a mobile unit. BEFORE agreeing to this service, we asked how much the service would cost, and we were notified that it was $60 per image that they charge. At the end of the day, nothing was fractured, and we later found out that it was Arthritis related, and this visit to the Urgent Care turned out to be pointless. We paid somewhere around $300 for our visit Cash. 2 Months later, we get a bill in the mail from San Joaquin Valley Imaging for $490.66. This was extremely shocking so I decided to call Willow Urgent Care to see what this bill is about. Then I was explained to on the phone that the amount we paid per image was their FEE PER IMAGE. It wasn't even for the X-Ray itself. Wouldn't that have been great to know at the time of imaging and the potential cost of something like that which was not made aware to us. EXTREMELY DECEPTIVE service, I will never recommend this clinic and will be keeping my eye out from now on. Please don't get screwed like us.
