I bought a car and extended warranty a month ago. Car is having electrical problems so severe only the jeep dealership can fix it. Jeep dealership said 2 weeks till they can see it. ********** told me to drive car with no headlights and severe electrical short until the shop can fit me in. The manager at Enterprise told me if I don't want the car to default on my payment. That's the only thing they could do to help me. The car messed up before my first payment was due.

Date/Time of incident: July 07, 2023 approx. 06:20pm Incident: I signed an application to run my credit and submit an offer to a single bank. This bank was specific because I had a preapproval with them and did not want to check with other banks at the time. After running my credit, the seller attempted to convince me to offer more money as a down payment, than the previously discussed amount, which was written on the application ($1,800). He had not attempted to finance me with the preset amount. He proceeded to speak on behalf of the bank, who he had not contacted with my application, stating that the bank wants more money down. I declined to increase my down payment amount until the financing was attempted with the discussed amount that was signed on the application. After declining the increase, he refused to submit my finance application to the bank. I decided to leave and requested my application, or at least a copy. He would not provide me with a copy of my credit report or the application I signed. More details are available upon request. I could not determine if by law he may decline to contact the bank after a signed agreement that he would. This would be odd because he ran my credit anyway. At a minimum, I request that the inquiry be removed from my credit report. If anything more, I hope it sheds some light on the sellers extremely unprofessional conduct.

customer signed credit application to run his credit on july 7,2023. after we  ran his credit we discuss the down payment he needed based in his score on credit .and the unit he was looking for .most lender required 25% to 30% based on his credit score and the unit he was looking at was more than $10000.00. there are no reason to send it to lenders because that will bring his score down  .he refused to put any more down and demanded ********** to a lender .he was told most lender close by 5 pm and we want have an answer until the next day. then he demanded the signed credit application and he was told we have to keep since we ran his credit and he never requested copy  of his credit which we would give him a copy but not the original credit application we even told him he can have copy of the signed credit application.again customer was so aggressive and demanded to send the application to lenders .a gain he was told we want get any answer until next day .

I am rejecting this response because:
Considering all the false statements made, I will list all the inaccuracies, numbered to keep it simple:

      1. We discussed the down payment when the application was filled out. AFTER he ran my credit, he demanded an increase to the down payment, which I declined without response from the bank.

      2. Most lenders requirements vary(not simply 25-30%). It is not up to the dealer what loans the bank approves or not. Furthermore, I had a pre-approval with the bank intended to be used with a similar amount of money down. The price of the vehicle was listed at $10,999, so my $1,800 was approx. 16% down, which considering the pre-approval seemed possible, but again, I would think is for the lending bank to decided. I have attached the Pre-approval Certificate.

      3. The assumption "there are no reason to send it to lenders because that will bring his score down" is completely false. The impact to credit as an inquiry occurs as soon as the credit is pulled, however great or small. Sending it to one lender would not further impact my score, unless a loan was issued.

      4. I was never told that most lenders close at 5pm and that I would not have an answer until the next day. Not once. On the contrary, he stated we could get me approved right then if I increased my down payment.

      5. I did ask for my application back, to which was told he could not give me my application back because he need to keep it for his records. He did not offer me a copy, and that is when I asked for a copy then. As he admits, I was not provided any documentation, even though he states it was offered to me.

      6. I do not understand how I was perceived as aggressive, I remained seated and calm throughout the entire time, until I stood to exit the building. I did not raise my voice, but I was clear about my choices and decisions. Perhaps they interpreted my unwillingness to be taken advantage of as aggression.

      7. Lastly, on my way out, I did hesitate and asked if they would really not send my application to the pre-authorizing bank, to which they stated no, and again, did NOT tell me I wouldn't get an answer until the next day.

All in all, there is an expectation as a customer that should be met by a business, and this business failed to do so, from my perspective as a potential customer. IF there was a personal reason he wanted more money down, it was never conveyed to me. He knew the down payment amount BEFORE running the credit. If you run my credit anyway, at least send it to the bank to be denied by the bank, or returned with a counter offer. If at any point he no longer wanted to do business with me anymore than state it so. I should not have felt forced to commit to terms that were not agreed to.

I purchased a2018 For Fusion at Jim Enterprise from salesman *****- before purchase I asked ***** that I wanted to make sure the tires on vehicle we're good- he said yes - they are new good tires - I said great because if I'm purchasing a car it should come with good tires - well in the last week my right rear tire kept getting flat- I went to ******* Tire in Selma so he can tell me the problem with tire and to fix it - the tire mechanic said all my tires were bad and to be careful not to get in accident- 2 of my tires on have big bumps- one is worn out and all 4 tires are different brands - so I would like for Jim Enterprise to make their deal right and replace all my 4 tires with good and safe tires for free - they took advantage of a female widow and they better make this sale right. Because I specifically ask for good safe tires at time of sale. Thank you I will appreciate any help.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 19****97, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Now I agree because im understanding that they will pay for my tires - and I'm good with that - but they have to purchase them first - im a widow and on a budget- they purchase them and I will have some one put them on
Also I would like to make it clear that I was never told to have the tires inspected - and yes I have been driving the car for 7 months but who will expect for the tires to be bad on a car they just purchased?
