70 year old women under conservatorship was authorized to sign and accept sale by this company knowing she was not authorized to allow such purchase. They contacted me first as her legal representative and homeowner and I did allow for any modification to the house I own an where my mother lives, they called and text me many times and still went around me and took cash from a 70 year woman and made modifications to my home.Business response

We regret the possible misunderstanding of Mrs. ******** ******. **** ****** sold her an alkaline reverse osmosis system that is installed under the kitchen sink, and we also gave her a shower filter for the bathroom, which removes chlorine from the water.
Mrs. ****** ******* (********** mother) and her daughter ****** ****** (who lives at the same address), both applied to see if they qualified with her credit to have a whole house water system installed. Unfortunately, both did not qualify, but at the insistence of Mrs. *******, **** ****** agreed to finance only the alkaline reverse osmosis system, upon a deposit of $500 dollars.
**** ****** has the policy that when it comes to an elderly person, a co-applicant is sought, in this case her 26-year-old daughter ****** ******, who lives with her, which appears in our company documents, the signature of the application of both persons, as well as a copy of their California ID
We have spoken with Mrs. ******** ****** where she tells us that her mother has problems deciding for herself and that her sister ****** does not have custody of her mother, she does not agree that any system be installed for her, we have tried to find a solution, but it states that the system must be withdrawn since the piece should send her mother to a place where they take care of her and that the house plans to put it up for sale.
We are very sorry for the decision of Mrs. ********, **** ******. In the next few days, we will proceed to remove the system and return the deposit. Ms. ******** ****** promised to remove her eyebrow to the BBB if so.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, upon delivery of refund and removal of installed system. I was not happy that after calling the office/representative and leaving voice messages and texts and even reaching out on chat on their website I was completely ignored. That it took the BBB complaint for them to finally reach out to me. I would like to have proof of refund uploaded to the BBB by the business or by myself before my complaint is resolved. Thank you.
