On *****. 2020 I took my **** Acura MDX to **** at this shop to have my ************** axel and tie rods replaced. My first concern upon picking up my vehicle was the 12 yr old boy wrenching away at a vehicle that was on the rack and when I asked **** who he was his response " He's my nephew and he's got to start somewhere" ummmm... oookay. 2 days after picking up my vehicle I called **** to ask him about the loud clanking sound I was now hearing that was not there before he worked on my car and he tells me it's just because my ************* was brand new and it needs to break in. OK. Fair enough. However, as weeks went by my car never ran the same and taking it to him ever again for anything else would NEVER happen. FLASHFORWARD to Oct. 8th 2021. I'm driving home through my neighborhood at 11:30 pm and as I turn the corner I'm suddenly thrown in to a parked car when my steering wheel jerks hard to the right on its own. I smash straight into my neighbors parked car and had no clue what had happened until today 10.25.21 when my insurance company and the collision shop informed me that my tie rod had snapped and my axel had torn away from the frame of the vehicle as a result of a very poor repair performed by **** or was it the 12 yr old? I don't know. Anyways, thank God I was not on the freeway when this happened and nobody was is her vehicle when I struck it. This could have been a lot worse than the two cars being badly damaged. ?? LIVES COULD HAVE BEEN LOST. When I called **** this morning to ask him how he would like to resolve this matter inside of court or outside of court, his response.... "I'll see you in court" no offer to honor the warranty on his work. No offer to fix the damages he caused, simply.. "I'll see you in court" This is simply unacceptable conduct and should never happen to anyone else!
