Winn Law group has a judgement against me and has filed a lien on my property. I have called every number I can find to arrange payment in full to have the lien removed and I am being sent in circles between a law group that apparently bought them out and other law groups. No on seems to own my debt. However there is a lien on my home. I simply want to pay in full and have the lien removed. I feel like at this point they are doing everything they can to hold onto the lien on my home. If I dont owe Winn Law group money, they need to remove the lien from my home.Initial Complaint

This law firm along with 2 other law firms are hiring certified process servers that are putting random descriptions of the persons they are to serve along with lying stating they personally served them when they have not. I am sure these law firms are very well aware of this. They are being hired to do a job, therefore they will do what it takes to get the job done to be paid. If it takes fraudulently serving people to get the proof of service filed with the courts that is what they will do. Because they have done this to me and I am very sure many many other people. This could potentially put myself my mother, who is on hospice, my disabled son, and our animals on the street homeless because they illegal and fraudulently filed with the courts, fraudulent proofs of service. There are two different process servers 1 year apart with two totally different descriptions of me. Neither match me at all. I went to court once already and the judge granted that they can not levy me or my accounts. They recently sent yet another levy threat after the judge ruled no levy.. The BBB is just the beginning of how far I am taking this. We will not be on the streets while they all sleep in warm beds in a house they call home.Initial Complaint

I have paid on time since a payment plan was set up. I did this via their online payment website. Winn Law Group's online payment website no longer accepts my payment information. It says "invalid login," however, all login information is correct and has been verified multiple times. They have not returned my phone calls or emails. I don't know if they are still in business. If they are in business, they should provide me with a payment method.Business response

This law group took out a lien against my property through someone else's name that has nothing to do with my property. I have called and left several voicemail and have not received a call back. I started making calls the beginning of April.Business response

Winn Law Group is happy to review this matter in more detail. However, not enough detail has been provided for us to thoroughly respond or answer the consumer's request. If more details can be provided about the lien, it would help us locate the file and help more efficiently.

My friend is suicidal due to this fraudulent law group. Leave her alone, shes threatening to kill herself and has no idea who you are or why you filed a suit.Business response

The Winn Law Group, takes matters such as these most seriously. Generally, if there is a debt that we have sued on, there is an active court case. However, this complaint does not mention the consumer by name nor the case number. Without such identifying information, we are unable to properly determine how best to help in this situation. If we are given more information, we could properly address the concerns raised in this complaint.

I am trying to refinance my house and I had a collection account. Paid off about 7 years ago. They did not file the release and are not returning my calls. My rate lock ends in a few days and neither I nor title can get a response to get the needed document. Its the one thing holding things up and could potentially cost me thousands of dollars.Business response

The Winn Law Group, APC takes matters such as this very seriously. We show no communication attempts by ****************** on our electronic system notes. However, I do see that we had provided a copy of the satisfaction of judgment in June of 2016 to her address of record, which appears to have not been recorded by her. Additionally, The Winn Law Group, APC sent a duplicate copy to her escrow company on February 16, 2022 at their request. Last month, my paycheck was short about $600. They are garnishing about $1200 a month for something I wasn't even told about.... I emailed my payroll department to find out that there was a garnishment taken out of my check. I waited for the paperwork to come in the mail from my employers only to see that there was a garnishment being taken out for a debt that I don't know what it is for. I never received ANYTHING from the above law group explaining that I would be getting deducted any garnishments. The paperwork that they sent my employer had the WRONG address listed for me - so I never received it. I have been calling and calling and calling to figure out what this is for and to explain but their voicemail is full and no one ever answers. I have submitted a request for them to call me back through their website but I have also never received anything from there either.
