********** oil change ticket number ****** front underneath bumper cover was damage while driving on freeway hear a dragging sound coming from under my car notice zip ties was put to hold up front underneath bumper cover where clips go i was never told it was a issue nor did i give permission to zip tie anything on my carBusiness response

***************** came 9/28/23 for a simple oil change at 9:10 am. Couple hours later ***************** brought in his vehicle claiming due to zip ties being placed on the bumper cover, the bumper cover fell down whilst driving.
The bumper cover for his ****** vehicle is directly underneath the front of his car. I might also add this vehicle is very low to the ground, lower than most vehicles. **************, who worked on the vehicle, informed the customer that he never removed the bumper cover, as both the drainage plug for the oil and oil filter are in a position underneath the car that does NOT require any need to touch the bumper cover. ************** did in fact put a single zip-tie on the bottom left corner due to the fact the customer brought in the car with this corner flapping down, almost dragging on the floor.
Video footage of the service shows technician was under vehicle for no more than 5 minutes. Which is not enough time to remove cover(which he didn't have to), remove plug, remove oil filter, and the put everything back, as well as use zip-ties for the whole cover(which takes longer than use screws). Why would he use zip-ties when the original screws are easier? Why remove the cover at all if he doesn't need to?
When the customer returned to make a complaint, the bottom cover was not attached and the customer refused to show us the cover so we could inspect. I doubt one zip-tie in the corner would make it suddenly drop. Photo in complaint shows one zip-tie, not sure what happened to screws holding it in first place.
