Beverly Hills Transfer and Storage moved my family from ***********, ** to *******, ** in June of 2021. Some of the boxes were delivered to a rental house where we were living, some boxes were delivered to storage at another location. The large interstate moving truck that delivered our belongings also was carrying boxes to be delivered to other customers' houses. About two years later (June 2023), we bought a house and brought all the boxes out of storage to our new house. We discovered one of the boxes had family photos that are NOT ours. The box also has a yellow sticker with identifying numbers (all our boxes had blue stickers). As soon as I discovered the box, I contacted Beverly Hills Transfer and Storage. I have emailed multiple times and called multiple times, only to be told time and time again that someone will call me back to deal with the box that is not my property. NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED ME BACK. It has been months of trying to get rid of this box. I can only surmise that the company doesn't want to deal with their mistake or does not care. I do not want to throw out another family's irreplaceable old family photos. It's not right. Beverly Hills Transfer and Storage needs to deal with this problem and retrieve this box or send me a shipping label for it.. I have given up trying to get someone on the phone since no one ever calls me back to deal with the problem.Initial Complaint

This company export packed &, picked up our household & personal possessions, 10/28/20, from a storage unit in ************, in preparation for shipping to ******. They held them in storage until 08/21 & then packed in a ship container & sailed to ******. The container arrived at our house 10/06/21. Unpacking the container we found many items missing. I filed a complaint well within the 30 day period as directed to Allied. They rejected my claim because I had signed for 123 packages at ************ & 123 were signed off at delivery at our house. My line of argument is that I was not able to confirm every item in storage was actually export packed & had to rely on the honesty of the Packers. So they may well have filled 123 packages but that is not proof they packed all of our possessions. I have provided proof of items that went missing but no one has addressed this fact but instead just keep repeating 123 packages picked up/ 123 delivered. Also Beverly Hills ***** lay the claim off to Allied & no longer respond to my request to address the proof of ownership I have given them, yet they are the ones I have paid $16,000 to carry out this work. Absolutely no sense of customer service. We chose ********************************************* to handle our very important & personal possessions (after 35 years of living in the States) based on the BBB credit rating of A+ so we presumed they were a company we could trust. It would have taken days to carry out the packing process if I had to monitor & record that every single item in the 2 storage units were packed before signing off on it. Allied/Beverly Hills told me they checked to see if perhaps items were still at their facility. so what else can I conclude as to why items are missing as our storage units were completely emptied out. The attached letter to ******************* provides the background to my claim along with the missing items, I can provide the proof of ownership mentioned but did not want to overload you with the documents at this stage.Customer response

Hi, looking on line, I do not see a single response from Beverly Hills Transfer & Storage to my claim.
For a company with A+ rating I find that most disappointing.
Can you please advise what can be done in order to get them to seriously review this complaint ?

So we are 2 months plus on from my original ************** have no response from anyone.
How can this be. I am trying to understand what Better Business Bureau means when you can't raise any response from one of your members.
Also, how Beverly Transfer can have a good rating even when they ignore the meaning of good customer service.
How foolish of me to think I was choosing a good company based on it's BBB rating.
Please give me some idea of where we are with this complaint.Customer response

We are now three months on from filing of our complaint with BBB & 9 months on from filing a claim form with Beverly ********************************************************* cannot believe that no one has the decency to reply to our claim.
Surely BBB's charter is to help customers with complaints so why are we not hearing anything from you, does that mean you are siding with Beverly ***** even though we have provided you with proof that our claim is valid !
Please have the courtesy to review our complaint & provide a reply.
