    We recently purchased a 2023 Toyota Rav4 XSE from this dealership. The brand new car came with two major manufacturer defects. The advertised *** and miles per tank was completely inaccurate. The car only gets 31 *** and was advertised to get ***** ***. The transmission on the car has been slipping and jerking and has a lot of play in the linkage even though the car only had 17 miles on it when we bought it. We do not live close so we made an appointment and made time to drop off at the service center. They told us the *** was approximated and it was my driving probably and they couldnt do anything about it. The transmission issues werent even acknowledged due to the fact they didnt show up on a computer when they test drove it.

    We enquired at the dealership about markups and were assured there were none on any vehicles. Based on this information, we visited the showroom, expressing interest in both pre-owned and new cars, with a preference for the best price. They showed us a used Toyota Rav4 XLE Hybrid for $34,950 with ***** miles. **** we asked about the price of a new version of the same car, they provided prices for other cars in their inventory without clearly mentioning that the new car was only $4,000 more expensive. Upon further inquiry, they revealed a $4,000 markup on the new hybrid, which was contradictory to their initial claim. Consequently, they sold us the used car at nearly the same price as a new one. A different dealer explained everything clearly and gave us an estimate for the new car that was close to the price of the used car we bought. We feel deceived and completely dissatisfied with how we were led to purchase a used car at nearly the same price as a new one. Additionally, the car had a defect with the petrol tank that wouldn't open, and the dealership refused to address the issue properly, instead trying to push us towards their service department. Overall, we are extremely unhappy with the dealership's conduct.
