As of today They still attaching the storage fees daily now it's more than my car note. I am disabled my income is limited. I been trying to talk to them to see if they'd help me with the daily fees but they said it's nothing that they can do. They basically just took my $****** cash and tryin to charge me more money. They didn't even tell me that they was goin to reposess my truck. They took it over me being late on 1 payment. I had the truck only 3 months if that longInitial Complaint

In April 2021 I purchased a used car and Green Road Financial was the company to offer the loan. From April to December I made my payments on time and actually paid more than they requested which was 377.00 I would pay 500, 600, 450 and early on in the purchase I asked one of the representatives to have whatever was paid in excess to please apply it to the next month she said ok now December comes around the holidays were tough money was thin so I did miss December payment. I stayed in contact with Green road and I let them know I'm planning to Refinance the loan because their interest rate is too high, I let them know i I had found a company and just needed to go sign the documents. So then unfortunately I was diagnosed with covid 19 and besides feeling like crap I had to quarinteen for 14 days. I told Green road all of my personal medical info when I didn't have to. So now January payment is late but I'm not able to go to refinance Co to finish paperwork and i get a call from Green Road and the representative from there company informs me that they don't know what they are gonna do with my car but if i pay December payment and that would keep my car from being repossessed so I informed her again of my quarinteen status but went to the bank then to *** which is where payments need to be made. They told me pay 377 i paid 400 so I assumed we were good NOPE my car was repossessed 2 days later with no contact by repo man asking if I needed my belongings out of the car, which includes my medications, all my tools for work phones ect. Then Green road tells me i need to pay $**** to get the car back I've talked to a supervisor supposedly who I informed that I paid the 377 payment that they asked for to keep my car from being repossessed and the manager acknowledged the rep made a mistake and shouldn't have told me to only pay 377 but she did so that was what I paid but **** now on top of the 400 just paid the car shouldn't have been taken at all I paid the amount askBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/09) */ By the time that the vehicle was repossessed the account was 30 days late for January payment and the payment received from customer only satisfied the December payment which was late for 57 days.As a matter of fact, the vehicle got repossessed due to being 30 days late and not having an active insurance.Customer gets billing statements every month which states all the past due payments. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/03/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They are right I was late on my payment I proactively made sure I reached out to them to let them know my plans to refi the loan at a lower rate, then informed them I was sick with covid, then THEIR REPRESENTATIVE told me to "just pay the 377 for December and I was good and the car WILL NOT BE REPO'D so that's what I did i paid what your company told me the required amounts were to NOT get the car taken. In fact I paid more than they requested and still 2 days later car gets repossessed. This GREEN ROAD FINANCIAL company has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, respect, understanding of its customers, they did and continue to lie about everything, I've asked to speak with the owner on several occasions they always tell me they will have him contact me never happend still as of writing this, they have no office to do business at just a mailing address and to top it off my vehicle was damaged during all this repo ordeal by the shady tow company they contract with and I know the financial responsibility is with reigh recovery they just completely blow me off about this matter or has been 0% help in repairing the damages. Bottom line is this if your requirement is to have me pay **** bucks then simply ask me to pay the **** and I would have paid the **** but your rep the one that has access to your systems told me only pay 377 and you will not repo my car I paid 400 while sick with covid I paid you what was asked and still you repossessed my car and dinged my credit so I'm having issues getting it Refinanced super shady company I STRONGLY ADVISE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GREEN ROAD FINANCE...
