I inser*** $40 cash into pump #5 and did not receive any gas. I also did not receive a refund as the gas pumps are not attended by an employee.Business response

I am writing to address the recent issue brought to our attention regarding Mr. T********'s visit to our Hollister Fuel Depot on 6/10, as well as the subsequent complaint submit*** to your office. My name is J***** *******, and I serve as the Customer Relations Specialist for Hollister Fuel Depot.
We apologize for the delay in responding to Mr. T********'s initial complaint, we recevied the 6/11 letter in the mail today. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. We understand the frustration that Mr. T******** experienced.
At Hollister Fuel Depot, we do not have a cashier on-site 24/7. While we do accept cash payments at the pump, we have implemen*** a Refund Request System to efficiently handle situations such as the one Mr. T******** encountered.
According to our records, on 6/10 Mr. T******** visi*** our location and paid $40 cash at the pump, but unfortunately, no fuel was dispensed. Following this, Mr. T******** comple*** the attached Refund Request Form and provided the receipt. Our Station Attendant attemp*** to contact Mr. T******** by phone to arrange an in-person cash refund. However, after unsuccessful attempts, the Refund Request was escala*** to our Corporate Office for further processing. Mr. T********'s refund has been processed, and a check was mailed out on 6/17. For your reference, I have attached evidence of the processed check stub.
Additionally, I personally contac*** Mr. T******** to provide the same explanation and offered my direct contact information should he have any further questions or concerns.
