      On June 12, 2020, I hired Air Conditioning Unlimited to replace my air conditioning and heating unit. The work was done in a timely manner with no initial complaints. However, in June of this year, I noticed when I turned on the unit the house would not cool down and the thermostat temperature would remain the same for hours. Once the unit is turned on it does not cool the house down nor does it automatically turn off. If it is 87 degrees in the house the temperature will remain the same into the evening hours. The unit remains on and only turns off manually. I contacted **** ******* and scheduled a service call. His technician came to my residence and serviced the unit. The problem continued so I again called *** ******* and scheduled another service call. His technician came out and claimed he could not find anything wrong but the problem continued. The problem with the unit and the back and forth communication continued through the summer months with no resolution. At some point, their explanation was that it was too hot outside and that was why the unit could not cool down my home. Obviously, this is not an acceptable explanation. After having his technician come out several times and not being able to fix the unit, he said he would contact the manufacturer and have the manufacturer send out a technician to try and resolve the issue. He has made promises that he would contact my daughter and that he would resolve this issue to no avail. His last communication with my daughter was on September 13th where he stated that his technician and their (the manufacturer's) technician would have a conference call to try and resolve this issue. My daughter sent him a follow-up text message to which he has never replied. To date, we have not heard from him. I feel he has no intention of resolving this issue and has previously stated that if we contact another company to repair the unit I will forfeit my warranty.

      Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2022/02/03) */ Mr.Reyes is 100% correct. We failed him. The unit did not work correctly (10 degree split). We needed to get approval from the manufacturer and they want to have a zoom meetings and refused to come out because of COVID. We replaced the TXV at our own expense and that did not resolve the problem. We enlarged the existing ductwork and that did resolve the issue (We replaced the registers for free also). Unfortunately the first technician was out there 3-4 times and missed the air flow problem (He no longer works for us). We have corrected the problem and we will keep an eye on his system with 2 free maintenances. He still has a 10 year warranty on the equipment. He probably won't need to use it because the equipment is very reliable (RUUD).
