Had entire house revamped and on my daughter-in-law recommendation used budget blinds for my blinds. Blinds were put in all rooms. The den had been a problem since day one. The blinds were installed on May 26, 2021. and cost over $**** dollars. The blinds have not opened or closed properly since installation . I called the owner about the problem and he has ignores me . I have contacted the corporate office and was told there is nothing they can do. I was told to get a handyman, my area was considered a gray area and the case was now considered closed. I asked to have another franchise help me, but my request has been ignored. My area wasn't considered a gray area when they installed the drapes and took my money. The blinds are still under warranty. The franchise is budget blinds. They are located in Granada Hills. The person who installed the blinds is named ****** *****. Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2022/03/08) */ Hello, We have been to the consumers house over 5 times. We also received countless pictures and late night messages from the consumer. Her blinds worked perfectly every time I can to service them. I also told her not to lean anything against the blinds like pictures and cabinets but consumer still kept doing so. Blinds have been checked and work fine and this has been marked as user error. We have explained countless times to the homeowner and she ignores all emails. Myself and corporate have both responded to her. Also franchise owner is now uncomfortable at home owners house as there had been an unlawful event happen at the homeowners house prior to arrival. Not only was there severe damage to the home because of it, the homeowner kept reminding the business owner of the unlawful activity that had occurred. The business owner not only went to the home but also had met the consumer at a hotel she was staying at because of the event that had occurred at her home. Her area was always a grey are which allows any franchise to service her. At this point Budget Blinds of Granada Hills reserves the right to not continue any business with this homeowner. The last time he was at my home is when he hung the blinds(5-26-21).. I texted and called him, several times without a response.. My daughter came to visit me fixed the problem temporarily. She said she has the same blinds with the same issue. The blinds were functioning until December of last year. I contacted budget blinds and corporate office. I was told the issue was resolved and they could not do anything. He has not been to my home to repair, adjust or any thing else.
