August 31st stay. We had a family wedding in Rough and Ready. I made reservations for 2 nights thru booking.com about 3 months ahead. Two weeks before wedding I called to just confirm. The desk told me there were NO reservations. We made new reservations at that time. When it was time to check out after our stay we were charged for BOTH reservations. Two different rooms. I explained what must have happened. I was told call back when manager gets in at 9am. After calling back twice on our way home the manger said she would look into it and call back within the hour. NO CALLS CAME. All my calls after that went straight to voice. After a day I called the dispute line for Best Western. Telling the whole story they filed a "ticket" and said give them 2 days. After two days and NOTHING I called my bank. They put a dispute in for me. And held the charge. $530.86 A month later , the charge reappeared. I called bank they said Best Western rejected the request to fix it. I called Best Western dispute line again. The lady was very nice and she put in another "ticket" to have it looked into. She said give it a day. STILL NOTHING. I am very upset because this is alot of money. We already did pay the $500 plus for the room we did use! All they really needed to do was check both rooms on checkout day. They can see one was never touched. And ** really upset that no one EVER got back to us after being told over and over that they would. This has gone on way too long.Initial Complaint

I stay at the best western in ************ from 8/4/2022-8/6/2022 with my wife and our 1 year old baby and the first issue was a ant infestation that I had to take care of myself by going to the store and getting pest spray as I was told they would have maintenance come multiple times but they never came. Then my wife found drugs and drug paraphernalia under the bed, we did not touch any of it and alerted the hotel staff and they did not seem concerned at all. They had a employ come take the items from the room and that was it, would not let me speak to a manager would not comp any price or move us rooms. I had not called multiple times a day and sent emails to the manager and general manager of the area and was finally called back a week later only to be belittled and yelled at and ultimately hung up on by the general manager. This is a law suit on there hands and I didnt want to have to go this route but I have no choice now. I have alerted my lawyer and believe this business needs to be looked into. On JUly 30 this hotel charged much more than they should have. 150 and then another ****** for 3 nights. I phoned the customer service and requested to understand the charges. She advised me that they would be removed within 5-7 days and it has been 7 days. I have recieved no refunds for the money taken. This is definitely price gouging and should really be evaluated. When i arrived I was given a key to another persons hotel room where they were sleeping. When we got to our room it had fleas in it and needs to be taken care of. I would like my money back.
