Date of oil change 2/24/2022 While performing a routine oil change on my business truck, (2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 diesel) a service tech removed more than 2.5 quarts of transmission fluid from a hot operating temperature vehicle, down to the cold operating temperature by mistake. This led to the transmission completely failing within 10 days of fluid adjustment. I have been on the phone every other day leaving messages and receiving very little consideration regarding the loss and damages to my business vehicle of over $5000. When I do reach a customer service representative I am told that a regional manager will be calling me and is handling my case. That call was over a week ago and I have yet to receive a call or any notice as to how the company will or won't deal with this mistake. Before I take them to small claims court I was hoping that the BBB may encourage Oil Changers to simply do their due diligence of customer service and simply call me to address this issue. I am a repeat customer of this business location for several years and have had no issues up to this point. I am gravely disappointed as to how myself and my local business have been ghosted by the corporate chain of command of Oil Changers. The resolution I seek can be found if I could simply receive a phone call, email or other message stating what is to be done with this case, even if the answer is nothing, so I can have the truck repaired and move forward with this process. Thank you for the response. Today by happenstance a representative from the company has reached out and is actually working on my case.
It certainly took a while but I think I can handle it from here.
