Flying Squirrel Tree Care performed a job at ************************** on 2/21/2022 to remove an oak tree. FSTC requested use of my driveway and side yard to access the fallen tree with a skid steer. During the course of work, a large chunk of my driveway was cracked and broken due to the skid steer and lack of placing wood down on the driveway to prevent damages. ************* soil has been compressed, the drain system is now damaged. The previously buried drain tube that connects to the downspout is now exposed and broken. The paver stones were removed during the course of work, they have not been set back properly due to the soil disruption and are now a trip hazard. I have contacted FSTC over the past month since damage occurred on 2.21.22. They have acknowledged damages but have made no attempts to rectify the damage. They have been unresponsive to my requests for repairs and communication.Business response

We offered to fix the area that we disrupted in fact we sent a contractor out there to fix that area. However, the customer wants the entire driveway replaced which we did not damage nor touch. This driveway was already cracked and damaged prior to our team being there.
We are happy to fix what we damaged but are not willing to replace the entire already damaged driveway. We have been in contact with this customer and explained this to them.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did allow Advanced Construction who was sent by Flying Squirrel to come estimate. I have not received a response or reply from either Flying Squirrel or Advanced Construction regarding the estimate that was performed on 3/14/22.
I am not requesting the entire driveway to be replaced.
During the course of the estimate by Advanced Construction I was told "to take the money and run" and "he isn't going to pay for this" - there hasn't been any discussion of money between myself or Flying Squirrel, let alone a plan to repair damages to the driveway or the disrupted side yard and damaged drain.
Advanced Construction stated that the portion of the driveway damaged could not be "repaired" that it would require a new pour for the that particular section. I do not want a "patch job".
There is also the matter of the disrupted side yard and drain issue that has not been addressed.
On Monday 2/28/22 in email, I invited **** the owner of Flying Squirrel to come walk the property so we could discuss how to rectify these issues. There has been no response from Flying Squirrel beyond offering a phone number to Advanced Construction, who came to my property on 3/14/22 to estimate. I have not received any further communication or contact from either entities. I have sent several emails since requesting communication, that have been unresponded.

I am rejecting this response because:
I am not rejecting nor accepting the response. Currently I am in the process of obtaining three separate estimates for concrete, side yard and drain repairs. I am requesting to utilize a contractor of my choice to perform repairs caused by Flying Squirrel.
Both Flying Squirrel and Advanced Construction have been completely unresponsive. To date, I do not have an estimate or scope of work for repairs by either entity. Damages to my property occured on 2/28/22, it is now 3/31/22, until escalating this situation with the BBB, there hasn't been any communication, follow up or plan of action by Flying Squirrel to rectify this issue.
I am requesting Flying Squirrel accepts financial responsibility to cover the costs of repairs and render payment to the contractor(s) of my choice to perform necessary repairs to my property.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Once all estimates have been conducted, I will be provide copies to the BBB and Flying Squirrel.
