AC unit was installed on 9/19/22. * Total cost of the job was $5,575 * Downpayment in the form of a check was provided to *********** on 9/14/22 in the amount $2,700 * Job was to start on Friday 9/16 but installer called in sick. Installation was reschedule for 9/17 or possibly 9/19. This depended on the installer's health. * Installation happened on 9/19 * Remaining balanced was paid on 9/19 of $2,875 in cash * However, one vent grill was ordered incorrectly. Installer said they would return to place the correct vent grill. No specific date was provided * I call******* on 9/22 to ask about finishing the job. He said Friday 9/23 would be the day they would come out to finish. * On 9/23******* called and said they would not be able to make it. He ask if Saturday 9/24 would work. Which I agreed to. * On 9/24******* called back and said he was not going to be able to make it and ask if Sunday 9/25 or Monday 9/26 would work. I was not available on 9/26 so he agreed to coming in on Sunday 9/25. * On 9/24 I called him back to informed him that a leak in my ceiling had formed after running the AC for a couple of hours. He assured me that he would look into that and make the fixes needed to make sure that did not continue. * On 9/25 no one showed up nor did I get a call back regarding the appointment. * On 9/26 I called him and left a voicemail asking him if he could call back so we could schedule a date and time. * On 9/27 - 24 hours after leaving the voicemail, I had not heard from him. I sent him a text and followed ups with an e-mail asking if he would be finishing the installation as well as fixing the issue. Which******* called back and said he would be here on 9/28 between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. * On 9/28 he was a no show and I have not heard back from him regarding the appointment. I feel likeI have been left to handle this issue on my own and possibly incur additional costs by hiring someone else to fix the leak, my ceiling and put a new vent grill.
