I came in for a oil change on my car and I brought it here the last time I had a oil change done and they told me this time the pan threads are now stripped and I would have to pay 1,300$ for a replacement when did not agree to pay the 1,300$ they told me a different filter was used and they do not carry that filter when the mileage from the last oil ***** and this one is consistent with the windo the oil should have been changed from one scheduled payment to the last. And the car needs its oil changed now. And ***************************** the service manager doesn't recommend me driving the vehicle.Business response

Perform inspection on ******** *** filter has a Aftermarket *** filter that we don't carry. We don't carry the filter that is on the vehicle, someone else has damage *** pan.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did not take my car anywhere elce and I would aslo like to note a complaint as to why when I got my car back after I submitted the origanal complaint ( before I left the dealership) was the oil indicator light reset back to 100% if the oil wasn't changed I asked *********************** why would they reset my oil life if they did not change my oil. I believe they used a dirty filter from another car the day of the complaint. They took my car back for about 20 minutes with out me there while I was wrighting the original complaint I sent to the B.B.B.They can not change my oil life indicator back to 100% if they did not give me a oil change. And they did. Some cars oil indicator gets reset if the filter is removed. I think this is what happened. Not sure if my car dose this but I do believe it's worth investigating AND noting. They damaged my car and I need a oil change and they need to be held responsible for what they did. The milage matches a oil change recommended oil change for my car is ****** miles. From the last oil change on 9/12/23 my mileage was ******. This attempted oil change on 6/27/24 is ****** a difference of *****. The proper amount for a oil change. Nobody in that time frame touched the oil pan but keller Ford.

I purchased a used truck on 9/18/2021 at Keller **** *******, at this time Keller also sold me an extended warranty- *** insurance. Keller **** ******* did not disclose to the insurance at the time of sale that the truck is modified with a "lift kit and oversized wheels or tires." Now AUL is denying my claim and states had Keller **** ******* added this verbiage into the sale of the warranty, my claim would have been approved. Keller **** is liable for selling me a contract that excludes "COVERED VEHICLE including, but not limited to: ... lift kits and oversized wheels or tires." My truck has been sitting in your dealership since 8/22/23. 17 days and I have yet to receive any type of response, phone call, email, or even an acknowledgement from your dealership. I have left NUMEROUS phone messages and have sent 1 prior email on August 30, 2023, all have been unanswered. I have called for 2 weeks straight, each time leaving a message either in voice mail or with another employee. Keller **** needs to take responsibility for selling a warranty that was not applicable for my vehicle. They have completely ignored all my numerous attempts to reach them. My next step is legal action.Business response

We apologize we sold the wrong ex-warranty with exclusion to modify vehicle. We our getting a new Ex warranty contract at will cover vehicles that are modified. We should have it done by Monday 9/18/23.

On March31, 2022, the works oil and filter was performed on my 2005 Lincoln Aviator as well as brake pads and rotors. On August 24th oil and filter was performed again. After a few weeks later we noticed oil leaking in the driveway and road. I took it back to Firestone and had it checked. The diagnosis was gasket and in oil pan. I took it back to Quick Lane since that's where I previously got service and they replaced the oil pan and gasket and advised me to take it to the dealership for further work. That was November 29, 2022 and on December 13th the engine shut down and gave out. The oil pan light came on and very low oil pressure light came on. I towed the vehicle to Keller dealership where they advised me to contact Quick Lane. I did on 3 occasions and was told by ****** that the manager ******* would contact me. Haven't heard from him yet. 936.12 was spent during this span.Customer response

The Keller Quick Lane observations, and findings during the service were documented, and photographed.
