Date: 7/1 Paid: $175.39 Checked into Rodeway around 7/715pm. The room smells AWFUL like strong mold. I was gagging, toddler coughing, but she was almost asleep and I'd brought all our stuff up. She picked that moment to have to poop. We go to use the toilet, and The seat is dirty. I clean it, she uses it. I try to figure out what to do. We were SO Tired from 3AM flight and she needed sleep. Graffiti in the closet, the super strong smell (also coming out of the ac), super hot room, the dirty and bumpy toilet seat, and a cigarette burn in the middle of the top bed cover. I let my husband know and took stuff back to the car. I set the keys on the counter and let the man know I needed to find someplace else to stay. The onsite proprietor offers to find us another room. I'm in tears, my child is losing it, I just don't have the capacity to sniff and check the toilet seat and Ac and beds of other rooms to see if there's a decent one. I decline and scramble to find another for my daughter to sleep that felt safe and clean.
