Dear BBB and complainant,
There appears to be 2 changes here. One is an addition of policy related questions specific to agency operation, not the service in which you have been provided. Terra Firma contracts with state and local government, who conduct regular audits to ensure professional operational and supervisory practices. This is a business that helps people. We are not responsible for the safety of activities in public areas. The complainant arrived at our business irate and making accusations. The questions hand written were handed to staff recently. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources as a business to continue to service the demands and unrealistic requests. This takes valuable time and energy away from clients in our care.
Secondly, there also appears to be an amount of $5,000 being disputed. This is fraudulent and does not reflect service costs. I do not know where this number came from.

Terra firma was referred to my ** parent and I to do supervised exchanges due to domestic violence and threats made to me by my childs father. ****** has been biased from the very beginning and has been extremely rude to me. This I can handle. However before our **urt date on July 2nd my ** parent paid for a report from her to use in **urt. ****** **mpletely lied about things and intentionally painted me in a negative light in the entire report. ****** made up things that absolutely did not happen. This is terrifying to me because of the power she possesses. I have always been overtly nice and respectful to her and the entire staff. She hangs up in my face when I am still talking on the phone with her. She talks down to me in a rude and **ndescending manner. Being a victim of domestic violence I expected to be protected by this facility and it has been the opposite. She intentionally left things out of the report that had a negative impact on our son at the hands of his dad and his family. Our son cries when its time to go with them and she never mentioned this even though it happened almost every time. Our son was retuned to me with infections and she never mentioned this. She said in the report that I returned our son with a busted lip and didnt know that happened. This never happened ever. She **mpletely lied. I am terrified of her for this because I dont know how far she will go to protect him. She threatens to terminate me because I exited the premises the same way I always have but when I told her he was in the front she said he just made a mistake. Im not sure what he told her to treat me this way but it is not fair. I have never had anyone speak to me the way that she does. It is extremely unprofessional and it is disappointing that a facility with domestic violence classes would treat the victim this way. My main **ncern however is the falsified reports being submitted to the **urts. She is blatantly lying and withholding the truth to protect him.Business response

I was ordered to attend 4 supervised visits with my daughter then file a report from terra firma. ****** the owner has been giving me the run around for over 2 weeks! I need to file the report to continue my court case and work on more visitation! The delay is hendering my efforts in seeing my child whom I've been alienated from for 6yrs!! I've explained the serious nature of my case! She has her co-workers say she left early, or call back in 10 mins.. Just to call back An be told "I'll get it done"!! But still she hasn't returned a call or finished my report.Business response

In response to the complaint outlined above. I am familiar with this issue. The complainant requested a letter for supervised visitation/progress report. I indicated this report generally takes approximately ***** days to complete and be ready for pick up. The complainant contacted me daily to inquire about the letter. I assured the complainant I was doing everything I can to complete his request. He persisted despite the direction I had given him to assist in expediting the process.. On approximately day 9, I feel extremely ill. I informed the complainant that I would do everything I could to complete the letter despite being ill. I was able to complete the letter and provide to the complainant. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete within 10 days and notified the client at this time, upon delivery. The client appeared satisfied with the letter and seemed to understand the circumstances surrounding the delay. He received the letter without complaint and appeared satisfied with the contents of the letter. Unfortunately, due to the influx of requests for letters/progress reports, it can be very challenging to complete when health issues arise, especially since I am the only authorized officer to complete court visitation letters. On behalf of Terra Firma Diversion and Educational Services, we sincerely apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this may have caused the client.
