I bought a used car from the dealership on May 5/17/23 with a three month warranty in the event that the motor or transmission had issues. My car broke down and needed a new transmission on June5th, 2023. I took the car to a local mechanic that the dealership recommended me to take and the issue was not resolved, instead the mechanic used up the 1.500 warranty towards my car to fix other car repairs and did not put a transmission on my car> The mechanic and the dealership owner are friends and many of the dealership cars are sent to the mechanic (BERTO) for repairs. I believe that the car that I bought already had transmission problems and the dealership owner sold me a lemon car that already had issues and is working to steal customer money through selling cars that are not in good condition( my car is not drivable at all) I want to report this issue and would like for BBB to further investigate this car dealership because I believe the owner is doing fraud and the dealership does not want to pay for further repairs and I have a three month warranty with them that expires in August 17,2023. Please all I want is justice and to report the dealership for lack of truth and lying to their customers, me being one of them. about selling good cars when in reality the cars are not working. I paid for the car CASH, which cost me $5,500 and the dealership wants to only pay for repairs if I hand over the pink slip so that I can pay them directly for the transmission and want me to sign a contract stating that I agree. I want to know my rights because I feel like the dealership wants to scam me and keep my pink slip and the car when the car is fully paid for and I should not pay any extra fees. When I bought the car I did not receive a contract because I forgot to ask for one and I am currently asking the dealership to email me one, but have not gotten a response. The owner is verbally harassing me and saying that he will not do anything to help my situation.
