I was not satisfied with the customer service I received at ********************** beach **********************. I felt racially profiled and defamation of character. I had called their number that I saw online and I spoke with someone and explained to them that my birthday is coming up and I wanted to rent a room just for my family and friends to come sing happy and leave. They said it was fine, they suggested I get the pent house that holds up to 30 ppl and they told me as long as we not loud and disrespectful everything will be fine, then they book the date. I called again the following week to schedule a viewing so I can see if it's enough space and it was exactly the space I was looking for. All this took place in February 2024. They also have an online website section where you can reach out to their event coordinator to schedule your event so I filled that out too just to make sure I had everything situated. No one reach back so I was assuming I was fine but something in my gut didn't feel right. Now we are in March 11th I called Hermosa beach to ask some questions just to make sure my birthday come out great and omg once the event coordinator got the wind of me having a party she was just so nonchalant and rude and not listening to anything I was saying and just jumping conclusions about everything I said. I felt she did that because I was black and she thought I was uneducated and didn't read or look at the website. She made up so many false policy and procedures that when I told her to clarify the policy again so I can record her she immediately got upset and said she wasn't talking anymore. I ask if I can talk to the manager she never transferred me but she gave me Pacifica.hotel information instead of the manager. It didn't get better after that. I cancel my party because policy is policy so I wanted to just enjoy the penthouse with just my son but that couldn't happen either because I received a email notification that my penthouse was canceled. I was so hurt and angry . Never again
