I was lied to and wish I had read these reviews before signing with them. I signed up for a 30 month plan of $552 to hopefully and thankfully settle my debt. One of the creditors filed with the courts and I received a summons. I was scared and made a one time good faith payment til I could contact Golden law. I thought they were going to address this. Well they did not and now my wages have been attached. They have cleaned out my bank account taking over $3000. I am struggling now to make it with my 2 children still at home. I am a single parent and life is tough enough. They have lied from day one. They said no additional funds would be needed and now they want additional funds sent in. I was barely making it with paying them $552/month but thought I could manage it for 30 months. Needless to say not all the debts are even close to being resolved. They did settle a few but not what was discussed. Shame on Golden law for preying on so many people in need. Run don't walk away from these liars. I am not sure what my next steps will be but my hands are tied til my wages return to normal. I hope I can catch a little break somewhere soon.

I respectfully and regretfully disagree with response. Barb is who I initially spoke with before signing contract stated to me " no additional funds would be needed. If you want to send in extra monies that would shorten your 30 months time." I explained 552 dollars is a lot of money I would not be able to make additional payments and she stated that would be alright. The statement above about being transparent is incorrect. That creditor was in our contract and they never stated they would be unable to deal with them or that I would have to take them on myself I thought that is what I was paying them for. I did not ask for more only for help with what was set up in 2020. By the way so people know if you cannot afford to keep paying them hence my wages being attached they will make additional attempts to withdrawal the money. I explained my bank account was cleaned out and they still made the attempt. Another BOOM they will immediately place your other debt still owed on your credit score to of course rub salt in the wound. I only want anyone else reading this be advised please do your homework. Get a real reputable attorney to assist you. This place apparently has ways around the law so familiarize yourself with all your options. This was a hard lessoned learned and I am out of a lot of money. I wanted to do what I thought was right and pay what I could with the help of people who I thought would walk me through this process. I feel they dropped the ball and let me down. I also read on here that even though they told me 30 months it would have ended up being longer. What is up with that. Maybe that is a "loophole"

I don't like making any complaints on line because it seems that some people have been helped by Golden. My husband & I tried but the payments were too hard to make. We never received any papers in the mail like we were told we would & we read the contract too late. All of the money taken out of our account was going to them. We couldn't fulfill our end of the deal according to Golden but when you do business with companies from another state then they can do what ever they want to & get away with it. This is my fault for trusting this company & not researching them. The payments we made could easily have made my light bill or could have bought Christmas for my grandchildren. My husband is on disability & we have three children at home. I should have know better but I really wanted Golden to be able to help us but I was wrong. As I said I was at fault also. I don't think they will even talk to us about getting our money back. It's not as much as some but ever little bit helps. If the higher ups of this company had a conscience they would try to give at least half of our money back. Anyone thinking about using Golden please research them before you agree. I will not give them a rating because I don't believe they deserve one. We have learned a valuable lesson. Please don't use this company for anything.

The only thing mentioned above by the writer ( Mary & Gregory Green ) that is true is the comment " it seems that some people have been helped by Golden " .

Everything else couldn't be farther from the truth.

I have been involved with Golden Law LLP since this summer when I consolidated 3 of my credit cards. They have been taking $350 out of my account consistently since June and have failed to pay all 3 of my credit cards. They killed my credit and now I have to pay all 3 credit cards and is not able to get a car loan because of my credit. I have called Golden Law LLP several times and before I can get someone on the phone my call us dropped.

We have reached out to Amy ******* in attempt to address her concerns and complaints, as they are untrue. We have also sent her a copy of the signed contract

Golden Law is the biggest joke ever!! They have only taken 3 payments from me to pay 3 of my loans, two of them where only a little over $2,000. But for what I paid Golden Law so far I could of had those two down to $1,500 now if not more. My credit score dropped like crazy after I had built it back up and was never late on a payment to now have it drop to almost 500. The loan people called me almost 5 times a day, to only finally me answering and them stating that they never received a letter from Golden Law. I withdrew from Golden Law to now be told after the money I paid in I am only getting $152 dollars back. When I should be getting a lot more than that back. During my three months with them I never received the papers I signed, was never told I was going to pay them almost $5,000 at the end of 30 months, was told it would be over within 6 months to 1 year, they never returned my phone calls when messages was left or messages sent to them with questions, only got a phone call when I messaged them I am withdrawing from Golden Law. I then got my documents that clearly said they will get $100 each month for their services, but really all the money was gone from my escrow and when I questioned that not one person would call me back. Now they are saying I have to pay that up front, but yet their document stated $100 a month for the services. Let me remind you when I called my loan people to let them know I was going to start paying them and what happened. They where very understanding and two of them claimed they didn't receive a letter or phone calls or it would have went on my account that they did. They both told me they can send me a letter stating this as well. I was lied to and scammed and to only be treated like ****!! If your thinking about using them "DON'T DO IT"!!!
