On December 5, 2023 about 8:00am I had a dental appointment to get my front teeth replaced with a partial. I was informed by the secretary that I had a payment due of $500 this is the third time this has happend to me at this dental office with this particular staff. I was irritated by it and expressed my disappotinment. The manager ****** came out to explain and I asked her why didn't you guys inform me before my appointment? I told them it was in appropriate and bad business. The Office Manager ****** became irritated by me and accused me of yellinng I have a stong voice based on my history as a Marine and working in a controlled environment such as law enforcement. I challenged ******, the office manager and told her she was the one yelling at me about calling the the police. I told her that I would record this conversation to prove she was yelling; she yelled at me about getting out of the office before she called the police. I called her headquarters office in ************** and spoke to the manager there and was informed that the their supervisor was not in the office yet but that he would have her call me. I told him that she accused me of yelling, called the police only becasue I'm black. I had on my work attire a *************************** Public Safety shirt with a law enforcement badge on it. Why would I jeopardize my job, my career for a person like ****** as she was not worth it and obviously had a problem with me being a 6'ft tall 185lb well built ******** complaining about their payment method in the presence of other white employees whom she solicited as a witness. I walked outside talking to the manager in ************** and I told him that I would be leaving and that it was very dangerous for ****** to call the police when I did not pose a threat. I have a right to have my billing explained to me. I left before the police arrived and contacted my Delta Dental to file a complaint with them you have my permission to get their findings from Delta Dental.

Hello, to whom this may concern. ************** came in on 12/05 to start a bridge prep from tooth 7-9. The total copay for the treatment was $2700, when ************************* this he was immediately upset. ************** wanted to give a down payment of $75 towards the balance but due to company policies and history of not being able to collect payments from this individual we were not able to honor that. ************** continued to get louder as the receptionist was explaining the copays and treatment. When I came out to talk to him he did not want to talk to me, he kept stating he wanted to speak to whom ever was above me. After calling my supervisor she explained to me she did not know who this man was but we did not have those types of payment plans. We would only be able to honor 50% down of the total. He was screaming and after we got him to leave the other patients in the waiting room requested that I lock the door. He then went on to "Yelp" to call us racist and saying I needed to get fired because I was trailer trash, he went on saying that we felt proud to have a "Black assistant". He also stated that I was trying to have him killed by calling the police on him and that a minority should be hired instead of me, I was born in ******, I am far from racist. My receptionist was in tears after this event and I don't understand his, "Dispute" for $500 when nothing was done and nothing was paid. After this visit we sent a dismissal letter to both the insurance and the patient, informing them we would no longer treat **************. ************** had been provided multiple copies of his treatment plan and had been explained the process and the fees multiple times in the past, it was when I asked him if he still had copies of those quotes that he became even more aggressive and combative. This dispute was solely about a payment plan that we could not accommodate and had nothing to do with his race or height.

      Best regards,

      ***************************
