      Business response

      12/15/2021

      Good Morning ******,

I have received your email.  Unfortunately for  Mr. ****** we can not pay the material   base on his own classification. We are the ones classifying the materials and tell the customer before they cash out any weight tickets.  And is their decision to leave the material or not. If he cash out his ticket that means he was consenting the classification.

I an sorry that people like Mr. ****** have to bother you guys, but the way business is conducted in the recycling industry is very simple. If materials are contaminated or not brought within the specifications of the classification, we have price for everything and when the customer decides to unload their material and cash out, they are consenting the terms in which the material is going to be bought.

Sorry  for your waste of time. nothing I can do at this moment.

      Kind Regards,

      ***** ***** ******

      Customer response

      12/19/2021

I am rejecting this response because:
They took advantage of a once loyal customer whom of which knowingly and willingly went there and recycled their scrap for lesser prices then competitors, due to wanting to help the "small guys" or hometown families and keep the money in the community, I was almost out of fuel when pulling into the yard to drop off that frame, and yes I did sign your pay ticket, because it was the only option I had, due to not being able to make it to another scrap yard because the motorhome frame(heavy metal steel) I was recycling, was already unloaded and in the pile when they told me I was getting tin pricing due to a couple pieces of plywood and some rubber fuel line, the plywood I took off, and was taking the rubber off when they said that didn't matter, either way I was getting the price for tin, management walked away didn't care, and I couldn't get anyone to help me with loading the frame back up, so yes I had to settle for the underpayment of the tin pricing! I couldn't even get my stuff loaded back onto the truck to go run out of fuel on the side of road, I would have went to another company and got paid almost 5x the amount I did for tin!!! So again, yes I signed your receipt accepting the price, but because you knew you had a monopoly, running out of fuel, it was already unloaded and I couldn't get help to load it back, other yards were closed, and you were closing, leaving me with only one option, to take your price, which is bad business to say the least! Not to mention a loss of a loyal customer!
