In January 2022, we contracted with **** *********, owner of *********'s Customer Countertops, to remodel the master bathroom in our home. The verbal agreement when we met with Mr. ********* was as follows: 1) Install two footstools in the corners of the new shower 2) New vanity where the old shower stall was 3) Tile new shower stall and floors 4) Install recessed lighting 5) Replace old countertop on existing vanity 6) Paint the bathroom 7) Shower doors We have several issues: 1) no footstools installed; 2) new shower pan puddles in right corner of the shower. We need to use a squeegee to get the water out of the corner and down the drain. 3) We still have patches of plaster that have not been painted, where the old lights were removed, 4) no shower doors. We have emails and text messages from Mr. ********* stating he would send his "subs" out to finish and correct the puddling. However, this has not happened. We are now in the middle of August 2022, and Mr. ********* has failed to respond to multiple emails requesting status update of when these issues would be resolved. We have not heard from Mr. ********* regarding these issues since July. We paid Mr. ********* $19,000.00, the total cost of the remodel. We wish to be refunded at least $7,000.00 as we now have to hire another contract to correct and finish these issues.
