On June 22, 2024 I took my cat into the Animal Medical Center at **********************************. She had a mass pop at 9:00 am on her face and was left with an exposed wound with blood and pus still coming out. We arrived to Animal Medical Center at 9:30 as a walk in. By the time we were seen the mass had slowed down on bleeding. The doctor took less than 2 seconds looking at the mass and said she needed surgery. I explained that she has had the mass for many years and her primary and I think at 17 years old she is took old for surgery. He decided to still push it and cut me off from explaining my cats medical history. He suggested we get blood work to make sure she has no infection which we agreed. After her blood work we were given ointment for her wound and sent home after paying the bill. I paid $364. 20 for the cream, visit, and blood work. After getting home her wound continued to bleed and puss for over 3 hours. They did not tell us how to clean her wound and they did not clean it either. I was expecting them to clean or address a wound that was still bleeding. Once at home we had to purchase materials to dress her open wound and care for it on our own. Which I feel that the doctors or nurses should have started at the hospital since that is what we came in for was the open wound.
