      Business response

      11/21/2023

As per the contract dated September 5, 2023 with *** and *********************, this contract was for the manufacturing of two cabinets for the upstairs bathroom at **************************************. this job was delivered on October 11, 2023, to the satisfaction of sad customers. I was paid in full at that time, and the contract was fulfilled. At the time of the contract on September 5, the customers expressed to me that they needed some custom moldings made for four stairs in their home. These moldings required a radical 90 bend. I told then I would experiment to try to achieve this ******** try to find moldings for their needs. There was no price or amount given, and the contract states nothing about the manufacturing or creation of any moldings, because I had no idea if this could be done, how it could be done, or what it would cost to achieve. This was expressly communicated with the customer and that is clearly why it is not on the contract. The amount of $400 that theyre claiming is a complete fabrication. At the time of the installation of the cabinets on October 11, they told me at that time they had change their plans for the steps and now just wanted blank boards to cover their steps instead. I communicated to them at that time it would be difficult to find oak boards in the necessary width. They responded by telling me that that was OK. It would *********** to 8 weeks for them to get the rest of their flooring so I had time. In less than three weeks, **************** here called me on October 31. I responded to him on November 1 although he claims to have not gotten the message at this time they were already angry and upset that in three weeks I had not gotten back to them when I was told I had up to eight weeks. Mr. ******* claims to have called me four times, but as confirmed with his wife, this was a lie. I had one missed call from him, and she said he called twice. The customers then took to ******** to leave this false information on my companies page and attempted to extort and blackmail me by claiming they would take these false accusations down if I refunded them some money.  My company does not operate, nor work with people of this level of dishonesty. And I stopped communicating with the Lupears after ***************** confirmed that the claim of four phone calls was a complete and total lie. They also claimed to have come by Rodockers Custom Cabinets, but there is no proof to that, no note left, or any other way to confirm this.  Based on their other fabrications, I doubt very much it actually happened. Plain and simple, their contract states nothing about the cost for manufacturing of their moldings that they are claiming they are due a refund for. Their contract breaks down the cost of the two cabinets that were installed and fulfilled to their satisfaction.

In February 2022, Mr. ******* ******** came to my home to give me an estimate to have some custom cabinets built. I Zelled him half the deposit of $1400 and he stated that the cabinets should be completed by the end of March. On March 7th I sent him a text to get an update. On March 21st I sent him the color however on March 22nd he asked through a text message if I had any other pictures of the color. On April 7th I sent him the color from one of the local hardware stores. He replied thanking me for being patient because he had some unexpected things happen. On April 28th I text him to check the status on the cabinets and he replied on April 29th, he was almost finish he was just having a little trouble with the stain colors and that he would contact me the following week to organize a time he can install the cabinets. On May 16th I text him to check the status. On May 20th I requested my deposit back because I had a phone conversation with him after the May 16th text in which he stated that the cabinets were with the painter and he cannot get in touch with him. On May 25th Mr. ******** text me and said he hired someone to work on the cabinets that had a warrant and this person skipped out of town and he does not know what he did with my cabinets and doors. We had a conversation on May 26th where he stated that he could still complete my cabinets. I asked if he could complete them in four weeks and during the four weeks give me updates on his progress and pictures. He stated “yes” he could. I followed up that conversation up with a text message in which he agreed. I went out of town when I returned I called him and sent him a text message to call me on July 8th. I had no reply. I call and sent him a text message on July 10th. He responded on July 11th stating he was going to send me a check for my deposit. After he sent the text message I called him and sent him text messages, I have had no response since this time and my $1400 deposit has not been returned.
