Hall rental on 10/2/21 Deposit $500, $800 rental. $250 cleaning fee, $180 liability insurance. ONLY disputing $500 deposit, have not received it. Was verbally told 7 days for deposit to be refunded after event. Its been 8 weeks and 3 days since event. I have reached out by text, email, and phone calls with no response as of yet. Activity is as follows, Text message 10/17/21-no response, Email 10/30/21- no response, phone call no answer-left voice mail- 11/8/21 & 11/17/21- no response. The business has not responded to any of my forms of contact. My dispute is Id like to get my $500 deposit returned as the hall was returned in great condition with zero damages. Actually, in better condition than I received it as the hall was not clean when I walked. A cleaner did come back in the afternoon to spot clean but couldn't do a thorough job as we were already setting up and tables and chairs occupied the floor area. The kitchen wasn't clean, we cleaned it before using AND after using the kitchen area (including fridge and freezer) although it wasn't required to do so. All I am asking/disputing is for my deposit to be returned. We are coming up on 2 months since our event and have yet to hear from anyone or receive my deposit.
