American Wholesale Patios Inc. dab Patios Cover, S***** ***** ****** and A****** ******** hold California contractor’s license number 1051018. They took my deposit of $4,130 and disappear without any job done. On November 14, 2022, I signed a contract with American Wholesale Patios Inc. Mr. S***** ***** ****** (S***e) to install the patios in my home. S***e gave me his business card, he is the general manager of American Wholesale Patios Inc. Per our contract agreement, the job start date was 10 to 12 weeks from the date of plans November 14, 2022. The job start date should have been around February 6, 2023. The total job cost is $11,800 which included materials and labor. S***e required me to make a 35% deposit to him so he could order the materials and complete the job as soon as possible. I handed a check in the amount of $4,130 to S***e. After I gave him the money, I didn’t feel right. So I had been reaching out to S***e several times via text messages and phone calls since December 2022 to get an update on the job start date. S***e did not take my phone calls, but once in a while, he responded via text message that he would give me the job start date. But he never did. I followed up on January 26th, 27th, and 28th 2023, no response from S***e. My phone calls to S***e at 9***********, are being blocked and rejected. I called the main number 7*********** several times, but no one picked up, and the mailbox is full. I sent them a letter dated February 6, 2023, with proof of delivery to the address 3**** S**** **** ******** CA 9***** and demanded them to respond by February 16, 2023. I did not hear from them. I want them to refund my full deposit of $4,130.Initial Complaint

on 12-18-21 ***** representing American Wholesale Patios came to my home to provide an estimate. We agreed on the material and price. Start date was ASAP on the contract and 1-3 days to complete. We agreed to $4100 with $800.00 down payment. We never heard from him until we started reaching out to him in March He would not call us back or reply to emails until I advised him i wanted a firm start date and gave him until 5-13 to provide a firm date. We have consulted an Attorney and also filed with the Contractors State License Board as we found out license expired on 3-21. They took our money on 12-13-21. They are operating an accepting money without being licenesed.
