DO NOT BRING ANYTHING TO THIS SHOP! Empire Upholstery shop doesn't upholster anything. It's a front to steal your deposit and your items. This family of thieves will take your possessions and throw them out back in a lot and forget about them. They won't return calls or texts and will just block your number when you call to get your property back. They never come into the shop and the front door is always locked with an abandoned pitbull on guard. Just look at the other Yelp reviews. They have had the police called on them numerous times and have many pending lawsuits all in regards to taking peoples property with the intention of only stealing the deposit and ones items. Could be a couch cushion could be a car or boat. They quoted me 2 weeks completion time for a job on a seat for a car and a chair. It's been one year and they never returned the chair or the CAR. Gone like a ghost. Yes they stole the car. They steal lots of peoples cars. Just look at the lot out back. Police don't care for the most part. They will even quote construction jobs like roofing and cement work and then never show up to complete the job. This is a deposit scam business. Jamie (the dad and owner) Gino and Hugo are not to be trusted. They are a family of conmen, crooks and lying thieves. Stay clear away unless you never want to see your things ever again, lose a deposit and have a civil matter on your hands. They always flake on completing anything and ghost you when you show up to pick up an item that they say is done but in reality it never was/will be. Only problem is they are broke and have no money and only operate in cash so suing them is a waste of time. It's like hitting a wall. Nightmare nightmare nightmare run run run!!!!!!!!
