My company is SEVEN SEAS TRADING EIRL. established in ****, **** Last January I had an issue with an import to **** with the salesman **************************He gave a Quotation for Silmar resin and Apex epoxy resins.The problem was in the epoxy, he wrote in the quotation $ ***** for 1.5 gallon kit ( 1 gallon of Resin A + 1/2 gallon of its Hardener B ), do after did some adjustment for the quantities, he provided a second and definitive quotation. I approved this second one, so I did the payment by transfer to their account But, when my forwarder get the resins ( drums and Pails ) and the shipment documents I saw the invoice, it is a different format from quotation, but the worst of all, the company had supplied less Gallons than offered. According with the quotation i asked and paid for 60 kits of 1.5 Gallons of Clear epoxy + 60 kits of 1.5 Gallons of Alpha Bright, 120 kits in total, but in the invoice only appears 40 kits for each epoxy resin, 80 kits total.When i asked ****** for this issue, he replied that he made a mistake, he wrote a wrong "unit of measurement" for the quotation, in fact the right one must be "per gallon" not "per kit".For an importer as me, the unit of measurement and the price are the most important things when i do imports, because if i had known the real price of your epoxy resin, I would have chosen another supplier, since their is more expensive than other options. I have written to ****** countless times, but he does not give me a solution, he just limits himself to acknowledging his mistake at the time of making the quote and assuming that I should know that The unit of measure is per gallon.How could I know that the price is per gallon if epoxy resin is always sold by kits, since that is its composition.Also i sent acouple of email to the owner, Mr *************************** , but he never replied I paid ** $ *********, but i only get $ ********, it means $ ******** SHORT
