Job was late, incomplete, and damage was above and beyond normal course of business. When I raised these issues with the company they were unprofessional on a number of fronts (e.g., completely disconnected from their billing department). They did offer a discount based on the job issues, but it came no where close to covering the $4500 in damage to the property (they put huge holes *through* the dry wall). Lastly, while they were adjusting and sending me a revised bill, they submit my invoice/property into a mechanical lien - totally insane. So while they were trying to figure out how much I should pay them based on what a bad job they did - they also formally filed my home for non-payment and put a lien on my property.

Thank you for the information you provided in your review. In response, we'd like to address a couple of items. After speaking to the team on this project, we were informed there was some delay in scheduling testing, which was resolved. We are under the impression this didn't affect the job's duration in any significant way. In regards to the drywall damage you mentioned, the photos our team takes before and after all work is performed show normal possible damage caused by containment, which is required. Lastly, it appears there was some miscommunication within our Departments which I apologize for. As you know we issued a credit for $1,899.88 for the inconvenience and damage that you mention. The final adjusted invoice was verbally shared on May 26th, emailed, and mailed on June 6th. It is standard business practice to process a mechanical lien if no payment has been made within the invoice period in order to protect our Collection Rights. We hope this clarifies any confusion. I do show we have resolved all the issues, if not please let us know.

Last May, my home burnt up P.W. ********* did the abatement just fine. However the money is in probate so I have been making $500 dollar monthly payments since January, and they know this they also know that as soon as an executor is established, they will get paid fully. However, instead of waiting, they refuse to release the mechanics lien they placed on my families home. They are willing to make an already displaced family of six (one of the family members is autistic and has never lived anywhere else that he can really remember until now) homeless. They are horrible. I will never recommend them to others who are going through a hard time or are facing obstacles that are not in their control. Again, the company knows the money will be available as soon as an executor is established through probate court, and the estate account is made. They even have the probate court date information to attend, but instead of releasing the mechanics lien until June which they will be paid in full by then and have monthly payments of $500 until they are fully paid. Instead, they want to make a family of six with pets homeless. Unless you have thousands of dollars on hand or able to get a loan because you don't have student loans and bad credit, don't use these heartless people. They know the money will be available after April, but they would rather make a family homeless. They are heartless.

Home fires can be devastating, and PW was glad to offer you a payment plan so you were better able to pay your account over the agreed-upon time period. Since payment terms were significantly extended, it is standard to file a mechanical lien (which allows us to collect the amount owed should the property change ownership). We have a very limited time in which to do this, which is why it was filed when it was. This is solely a precaution, and the balance owed in no way affects your housing situation or displacement.
