Purchased a spoiler for a Gran National Buick project. Six months after it was installed it started curling up on one end. Called Classic sales and they said since it had been panted and installed they could not help me. Six months later I closed the trunk and one end of the spoiler broke completely off. I called Classic again and got the same lines. Asked to talk to a supervisor but he supervisor never returned my call. Clearly the spoiler was made with inferior material and even more clearly Classic does not stand behind the products they sell. I've bought allot of parts from Classic through the years but they will not be getting any more of my business.Don RClassic Industries Parts & Accessories Inc

Classic Industries has unfair and suspicious business practices. They overcharge on shipping and deliberately say one of your parts is on "back order" then mysteriously ships out the day after the original parts ship at an exorbitant shipping fees. I feel this company is taking advantage of its customers through shipping "the skim" doing research I found their are other companies whit 3/4 less shipping fees buyers beware......Classic Industries Parts & Accessories Inc

After reviewing your two orders, we found that our system estimated the freight costs very accurately and that we did not profit at all from the shipping fees. Its also worth noting that our agents advised you of the shipping costs ahead of time, and both times you agreed to them before we shipped the orders out. Your suspicion seems to be based on how quickly the backordered item became available. While we can understand some skepticism, we can assure you that it is not our practice to withhold backordered products in order to profit from shipping fees. Such a move would jeopardize the trust of the community and definitely harm the business more than it could benefit it. I ordered a Fender from hem around the first of November, it took me probably 15 telephone calls just to locate it? just received it last Friday when I went 100 miles out of my way to get it. Right after I ordered it one other agents called to inform me that the shipping charges had increased by some $300.00, I very relunctly accepted the offer, then they lost sight of it and kept telling to call this freight company called Force, so after making about 10 calls to there foreign speaking dispatchers , get a call from some woman stating she was with Fed Ex dispatch stating she had it & wanted to deliver it the next day between 10AM & 4PM, after waiting all day for the truck or at least a phone call whichever took place? I found in my email the person that I had okayed the extra shipping costs. Her name is ************************* that entertains the job of costs scheduling for Clasic Industries, she just gave more phone numbers to call to try & locate it? They didn't turn up the whereabouts of it ? I called her back & told her she best locate it before I file charges. Next day she has Force call me to tell me they needed me to make a delivery appointment, I then ask if now that I finally know where it was could I drive the 100 mile round trip & pick it up which I did that day saving more delivery costs? What I need from Classic Industries is some compensation for my travels & stress?Classic Industries Parts & Accessories Inc

Concerning the freight charge, we just want to clarify that the freight cost had come in $39.64 higher than our estimate, not $300.00 more. Also, we apologize for the inconvenience and any confusion caused by the freight carrier. Unfortunately, we have very little control over the freight carriers once an order leaves our warehouse. Most times, orders are delivered by our carriers without any issues at all. In this case, it looks like TForce had an issue delivering to your area in a timely manner, so they offered you the opportunity to pick the order up. Because of this, we were able to work with the carrier to offer you a partial refund for your shipping costs. Horrible company that is singularly focused on avoiding responsibility for any product defects or shipping errors. They ignored glaringly obvious damaged parts even after its hired ******* pointed out the defects to them. Products arrived bent and disfigured with divots in corners of metal that is openly visible. Other parts supplied were dented and mangled. ***** answer was " go ahead and sand it and we will give you a $75.00 credit". No thanks. Classic Industries should be ashamed of their ridiculous "credit offer" on a $1,000.00 thousand dollar purchase of mostly worthless, disfigured parts. Classic Industries brings the latest definition of poor and self-serving customer service to yet another lower level. Because all of these parts are basically coming from the same manufacturing location. You should avoid those who broker these products who don't care about what is shipped or how it arrives and have this kind of customer service and who don't stand by products. 5 starsI filed a complaint with BBB about this company before I contacted them, it was a rash decision. Classic Industries refunded my purchase even though it was outside of the return window. We are sympathetic to ******************* who could not return a product because it had been installed on the vehicle. The item that was ordered is clearly advertised for vehicles that have been updated with a modern LS engine, not for cars equipped with the original engine. Unfortunately, theitem ordered was not correct for the customer's application and therefore should not have been installed on the vehicle. We are always ready and willing to offer a credit, exchange, or refund for any item that was purchased as long as it is in new and resealable condition when returned. Unfortunately, this item showed signs of installationand was deemed not eligible for credit,exchange, or refund. If the product had not been installed, we would have no problem accepting it back for a credit, refund, or exchange. We always recommend making sure the product(s) being purchased are for use with the intended vehicle. Our staff is always ready to help answer questions if a customer is not sure a product will fit the vehicle. 5 starsIve bought parts here over the last few years, and so far, Ive had nothing but good experiences with them. Theyre a convenient source for Mustang parts in *******************, its nice to be able to pick up parts and save on shipping. Even when I had a defective part, they exchanged it for me without hassle.
