On September 4, 2021 I was driving on *************** in ****************, adjacent to the Meadowlark Golf Course. Suddenly, a golf ball struck the windshield of my car, and it shattered my windshield. I called 911, but they weren't much help. We went to the golf course office and spoke to the manager. The manager investigated the situation in real time, and stated that the golfer wouldn't accept responsibility, but that he didn't think we should have to pay, so he would contact his corporate office and get back to me the following Monday. He never communicated with me again, and did not return phone calls from me. I had to file an Insurance claim and pay a $500 deductible. I was also left with no vehicle for several days not to mention the emotional toll. This is very poor business practices, and I'm surprised an established business would act this way.Initial Complaint

On September 4, 2021, I was driving on *************** in ****************, **. This street is adjacent to the Meadowlark Golf Course. Suddenly, a golf ball crashed onto the windshield of my car and shattered the windshield. My passenger and I witnessed golfers reacting to the damage. We drove to the golf course clubhouse and spoke to the manager. He took a report and conducted a real time investigation, stating after that golfers refused to take responsibility, but stated he would contact his corporate office, since he didn't think it was fair for me to pay for damage. He said he would contact me the following Monday. He never contacted me, nor did he return my phone calls afterwards. I ended up having to make a claim with my I insurance company, and pay a $500 deductible (not to mention the days with no car, and the emotional frustration), I'm extremely unhappy with this business, since I feel they do not provide sufficient safety for the public nor customers, and also lack basic customer service.
