I called before driving 20 minutes and asked what time they closed and the receptionist said 5pm and asked if they accept Medi-Cal. The receptionist said yes. My daughter of seven months has a wet cough and I wanted to get her checked when I arrived there receptionist asked why I was there. And I explained to her. And she said that they stop seeing patients at 4pm. I said it would’ve been nice if someone had the decency to tell me that when I called instead of driving my daughter out here in 100° weather. Another nurse comes out and tells me that it’s the doctors decision when they see the last patient. So I asked to speak to the doctor well then another nurse came out who is very confrontational telling me that they were not going to see me. I asked if she was a doctor and she said no. So she continues to tell me to have a great day and repeated herself over and over. And I told her all I want is for my daughter to be seen. Instead these woman (nurse) was very rude and confrontational. This is the first time I’ve been on Medi-Cal for my daughter and I was treated this way. I looked at yelp and their reviews and it seems like they have bad reviews over and over and very few positive reviews. They really need to be reevaluated and the women were very rude and just don’t seem to want to do their job. So if this is a medical facility and they don’t want to help patients at 4pm when they close at 5 PM then they should just put that sign up and change the hours. Or be closed entirely. Or have new staff who actually want to work.
