June 2020, I went to Grace mortuary to do a pre-need on a family friend. I paid for the pre-need in full in November of 2020. My love one passed away on December 30, 2022. The hospital called me to let me know he had transitioned upon my arrival they let me know that they had no storage place to store him and that I needed to call the funeral home to pic him up. I did so. I signed the release papers to have his body removed and transported to the funeral home. My love one had been in the care of Grace mortuary since December 30th 2022. However I paid for his services in advance. The service was held up and I was not able to move forward with his service until February 10th 2023, however a day prior to the funeral service I was told by ******* that they were not able to get the recording of his cause and time of death to get the death certificate so therefore he cant go and be cremated. Ms. ******* also stated that by him being there due to not being able to get the information recorded I would be charged more money. I feel services were not expedited as I paid years prior and Im seeking a refund and legal assistance
