We leased a Volvo in 2018 and returned it in 2021. We were allotted ****** miles, but due to Covid, we only drove ****** miles. We didn't go anywhere, except local driving. When we returned the car, we were charged Excessive Wear and Use, because one of the tires was worn 1/32" more than the others. My concern is how can we have excessive wear, when we drove ***** miles less than allocated? And, how can you be sure about that 1/32" of an inch? Looking for support to get Volvo to refund the excessive wear charge.Initial Complaint

I purchased a certified pre owned Volvo xc 60 t6 from a certified Volvo dealership.I live in Marthas Vineyard island and knowing I live on this island and their are no dealerships here,if anything is needed to be done with this car I must take the ferry then drive to the nearest dealership located in Hyannis *************.In April of this year, 2022, my cars engine light went on 3 separate times in 3 weeks requiring me immediate repair.This caused extreme logistical difficulties to arrange ferry tickets and missing work And ultimately a complete lack of confidence that tis car would not break down again to the point it might be a lemon.Volvo told me in writing that they will reimburse me for the 3 ferry round trip tickets and the equivalent of a one month lease payment of in total $952.They will not pay and have been running me around for 6 months when a simple check mailed to me or a 1 minute bank transfer payment would put this awful situation behind us.There is always some lame excuse as to why I have not received my refund.I have spent countless hours on the phone and emails trying to resolve this promised in writing refund that I would be paid. Please help me, I do not know whom to turn to . I need your help. Just the anxiety alone has been awful when they say its taken care of and then and I do not receive reimbursement, this is 6 months and counting. They actually called me last Friday night at 7:30 pm to assure me, I clearly know they do not want to repay me and are making this so difficult hoping I will just give up. Since Ive had my car (past 18 months) I have submitted my car payments through my bank without any issue. All payments have been cleared and none have been late. I received notification that I was past due on two months payments. My bank statement shows they were paid and processed. I then received a refund check from Volvo for the amount I paid for two months car payments. My credit report showed I was delinquent on payments. I have called Volvo financial for them to fix the problem. I sent them copies of my bank statements and they check they sent me. I requested a letter from them stating this error was their bookkeeping error and my mine because Im trying to buy a house and this is a huge hit yo my credit. Its been over two weeks and Im told theyre working on it. Their error is infringing on my ability to move forward in my life snd hurting my credit score.
