HORRIBLE. FRAUD. Kristine sold me on having things done that did not need to be done. I now owe thousands of dollars to them because my insurance said it was all unnecessary! I was literally told insurance had approved all my repairs, dont worry Kristine said, and it was not. If you use this HORRIBLE company, fact check first!

I had a horrible experience with Restoration Heroes. I had a water leak on my garage and Restoration Heroes was recommended to me by my plumber to mitigate the water damage. ******* from Restoration Heroes showed up and provided me with an estimate. He informed me that Restoration Heroes will work with my insurance company to file the claim, as well as provide a contractor to fix the problems. For the reconstruction, Restoration Heroes referred me to Geoff, whom I later found out is a project manager working with Restoration Heroes and subcontracts the work out to a subcontractor. After the work had started, I asked ******* about payments to Restoration Heroes, he informed me that for the water mitigation part of the claim, the insurance company will pay Restoration Heroes directly, and for the reconstruction part of the claim, the insurance company will reimbursement me and I will pay the contractor (which was provided by Restoration Heroes). Therefore, for all the claim checks I received from the insurance company, I paid the contractor directly. After everything was done, I receive a **** from Restoration Heroes for over $2500. When I called Restoration Heroes, the accounting department told me that the insurance company had made a mistake and that I need to make the payment to Restoration Heroes. Despite numerous communications with Restoration Heroes as well as the project manager working with Restoration Heroes, and the project manager's promise to resolve the situation, I was still asked to pay out of pocket. I ended up paying out of pocket just to get them off my back because I was receiving an invoice in my email on a DAILY basis. The bottom line is don't believe anything they tell you. I will definitely recommend AGAINST using Restoration Heroes.
