Im asking for a resolution to be made with flair espresso company. I wanted to initiate a return for an espresso maker I bought my husband for Christmas. He tried it a few times and found it was a lot of steps and hard to make this espresso manually instead of with a machine. It was an expensive product almost $250. I wanted to make a return so I emailed the company and started the return. Most companies all offer a free return shipping label to cover the cost of shipping. This company did not. They said I would have to pay for not only my own return shipping all the way from ******** for a heavy item but also they would deduct $14 from the amount of the item for the original shipping costs which I have never heard of a company doing. Im addition, they said then they will approve or deny the return. The business did not find a resolution and said this was stated in their return policy. However if I did not pay for shipping in the first place as it was a promo for free shipping at Christmas, why would $14 be deducted from my return? I asked them if they would either pay for the return shipping which cost $27 to ship back with **** or not to deduct the $14 for shipping. They said no to both and said this was their policy. I am asking my return be approved and for the shipping cost of $27 to be covered as well as not to deduct the $14 so I can get a full refund of 242.74.Thank you for your time.
