  The date of the transaction was 10/15/2023, with Orange County Singles, at a local restaurant. I met with *************** (not sure if that is her real last name). She is the main person that interviews prospective clients, for the Orange County Singles Company. I signed numerous documents and she specifically told me, that women, pay $5,000 for the Company, to match me with men, who met all my qualifications. I gave her a list of my qualifications. I asked her what do the men pay, for meeting their women clients and she said, $10,000. She said they would call me when they had a male match and I would meet they at a specific location. She never mentioned another women, would be my matchmaker, who works for the LA Singles group. That woman called me and did not have a list of my qualifications. Her name is ****** and she said her office was in ***********, which made no sense to me. ***** set up the first match and the man did not even live in Orange County and did not meet my qualifications. The second match was nice, but never called me to schedule a date and was not retired, which was a qualifications that I wanted, since I am retired. He did not pay either. The third match came from ******, and he was not in Orange County and we were not geographically desirable and he told me, he did not pay anything, to be a part of this group. I looked up your rating for this *********** Singles and it is a C+, which is not good. I had no reason to be with ************, since I only wanted to meet men in Orange County. I talked with the Manager of the Matchmakers and she said everyone pays a different price, which made no sense to me. I think this Company is basically scamming women, who are stupid enough to pay this price and most of the men are paying nothing or less. I am very new to this group and now *****, will not return my calls. I feel this is Fraud and I am hoping you will look into it for me.

  **** with Orange county Singles Tricked me into having her charge $15,000.00 on my credit card to arrange me to meet a man. she said that I would get married with the First Man I met.After a few minutes of her charging my card I asked her to process a refund but she said that I was over thinking. I left the office. I then called her and requested a refund while over the phone, again she said no.I feel like **************** me and she used Mental Terrorism to make me believe that I needed her services. I am very frustrated and unhappy with how **** refused to refund me.When I left the office she did not give me a copy of my contract. I had a planned trip to ******** June 5th through June 12th. upon my return, I saw a letter in my mail with my contract stating that I only had 3 days to cancel and get my money back. I want to submit a complaint and I want to warn everyone about how they manipulate people out of a lot of money ,they take advantage of people who are lonely and looking for love.

  I want to get this business to stop harassing me. I do NOT want my money back. I knew what I was signing up for and knew it might not be successful. I was "matched" with 2 men in 6 months and neither of them were even close to what I expected. I started out relatively open to anyone but after those 2 dates, I had to change my parameters. Then I didn't hear from them for 4 months. I decided to cancel my contract and walk away from my money because it wasn't worth the anxiety and the dealing with them- they continuously tried to suggest men that were still married. The last time I spoke with my "matchmaker", ****, she kept telling me about 1 guy and that was it. He kept putting his account on hold and after the 3rd time she talked about him with no one else? I just decided this wasn't worth it. I wanted to be able to review my experience without being tied to the contract that I signed saying I wouldn't say anything negative about them while I was a member. I paid $15,000 for 15 matches in 14 months. They've been sued for MUCH more- $50k was one I saw. I knew what I was signing up for and was not defamatory in my reviews. I was honest about MY experience. I wanted to let people considering this business to make the best decision they could before signing up. That's what review sites are for, good or bad. I signed up Sept 4, ******************************** writing on March 14, 2022. That was the end of me doing business with them as per the contract. This company refuses to stop contacting me. I have repeatedly requested they stop and they keep coming with emails. I have blocked them in every way I can but they are threatening to post pictures of my contract, INCLUDING my signature, in response to my reviews. That is why I am reaching out. Again, I was well aware of what I was signing up for. I didn't know I would get harassed as an end result. I want them to stop and they are NOT allowed to post my contract in any way. Please someone help!

  I signed up for the service about a year ago. When I went in they had me answer all these questions and then ***** took me in her office and made me feel special and like she had all these men lined up waiting. She also made it seem like she was giving me a huge discount and acted like my very best friend and that she would personally take me under her wing and I would have no problem. I had to sign all of these papers and she used such manipulative sales tactics and makes you sign something saying she isn't pressuring you (as she is). Its classic psychological sales manipulation. They scramble you by asking all these confusing detailed questions, play on your pain points, take your money and then bam.........no *****. She quickly passes you off to client services department and when I tell you the few dates they actually set me up on that were like 2 months apart (3 total in a year) they were SO not compatible. They even had me connect with a man who wasn't divorced yet, pushed me into going on a date with a older man and told me I wasn't being open minded. They are the biggest scam artists and manipulators. They will comment back some cliche comment saying they took care of me. BEWARE they did not
