I bought an Emojo Lynx Pro 750watt fat tire ebike from ********** also known as Best electric bike and scooter rental. I thought it was a great bike with a hand operated throttle which was hard to find at that time. Until it wasnt.The bike was troublesome just a few days after I bought it. Main troublespots:-The ebike lacked reflectors as legally required. It was only when some passer by said I was completely dark aside from the light I installed I realized this.-The most serious issue was the back wheel rim was defective but neither the manufacture nor the seller would admit it. Starting from the tenth day of ownership it blew out without warning as the inner tube got caught in the rim, it happened repeatedly like every thirty miles or so tire just blows for no reason. And every-time it happens the bike cannot stand on its kickstand nor moved without lifting its heavy tire up, and require a large vehicle to transport the wheels no longer fit in the bike rack.-This happened five times(an average of every thirty or so miles of riding more or less), the shop couldnt find a lasting fix for it despite me spending $70 per fix. I was hundreds of miles from ********** at that time and couldnt wait for him to call back days later while I sat stranded.-Another issue to be worthy to reveal is its throttle it often skips or not engage when going up a hill. Scary as brakes must be released for the throttle to work allowing the bike to roll backwards if it doesnt engage. The bike also developed lots of noise after a week of use. And it never reaches its set speed of 20mph. (Please note I did not raise these concerns to Emojo as I was tied up with the rim issue.)At first we tried to explain the issue with the rims to Emojo(I didnt get the chance to mention the other issues though Ie the noise, speed, or throttle)but they wont listen and tell us to contact the seller instead. The seller ********** in ********* was less than helpful, always denies anything he once said, and eventually blamed us on misuse of the bike ie riding on rocks, just because the tires are not in prestine condition.After a while Emojo of ****** finally appear to listen to us but ended up referring us to various repair shops in Orange County that no longer existed. They also dont have any voicemail system at all. After talking to us they ended up contacting the seller and believing the sellers story from rideosides owner saying we abused the bike and denied warranty on our bicycle. And stated they are voiding our warranty on this ebike due to user abuse which is obviously false. This company and their vendors back each other up in shady practices. I suggest anyone who bought an Emojo bike either over the holidays or otherwise to return it before its too late should they encounter any issues. I wouldnt want to wish what I experienced on this Emojo ebike upon my worst enemy. But I just hope I can get some recourse or apology from the company.
